In fashion, one day you're in and the next you're out -- and, surprisingly, when "Project Runway" guru Tim Gunn saw our photog's ensemble yesterday, it didn't get auf'd!

Our guy may have made it work -- but we're guessing the outfit would still bore Nina.
Here's the translation for those of you who don't watch "PR" -- Gunn likey the outfit.

Michael Kors will resort to stealing from the dead -- according to a new lawsuit.
TMZ has obtained a Federal lawsuit filed Monday by a famous designer's company, claiming the "Project Runway" judge brazenly ripped off designs for a clothing line.
Here's what's interesting -- the company was owned by acclaimed designer Tony Duquette, who died in 1999. According to the suit, last year Kors unveiled his Resort Collection, which allegedly is a direct rip on Duquette's work. Even worse, the suit claims Kors had the audacity to refer to the Collection publicly as the "Duquette Collection."
The suit seeks all sorts of damages from Kors.

The Hulk's daughter gets a lot of crap for her sometimes ho-rrendous fashion -- but last night Brooke was lookin' damn good and a bit Ellen Barkin-ish) outside Koi. She oddly lost all happiness when asked about her dad.
Also in L.A.: a rare smile from Hilary Duff, 78-year-old stud Robert Loggia and two foxy ladies, and classically trained party maniac Josh Groban at Hyde. In NY: a baby-less Keri Russell and a smart-talking Michael Kors.

The fur flew at fashion designer/"Project Runway" host Michael Kors' Spring 2008 Bryant Park fashion show, when a group called NYC Animal Rights staged a peaceful protest, crying wolf on his use of fur. *Ahoooooooooo!*

Earlier this year, Kors was cited by the Humane Society of the United States for using dog fur in some of his designs. Since March, Kors has discontinued his use of dog fur, but still uses rabbit and broadtail fur.
His spring collection didn't contain fur pieces, but, said Santos Lopez, founder of NYC Animal Rights, "The animals that will be used in his fall collection are already suffering in cages, and we only get a chance to speak to him twice a year. I don't want to look like we're bullying people, but these designers are celebrating the deaths of animals."
Billy Daley, Michael Kors' Vice President of Global Communications, had no comment on the protest.
