The Michael Vick "Please Don't Pelt Me with Objects" tour began today as Vick addressed the press for the first time as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Vick said all the right things -- like "I won't disappoint," "Playing in the NFL is a privilege, not a right," and "You only get one shot at a second chance" -- but he's still got a long way to go to win over the fans of Philly.
Remember, these are the same people that booed Santa Claus.

Pink is not a fan of Michael Vick -- and now that he's playin' ball in her hometown, she's letting everyone know how damn pissed off she is about it!

The singer just unleashed on the dude on her Twitter page, firing off the following message:
"wow. michael vick in MY hometown, Philly. of all the places. I hope the fans tear him to pieces like his beloved dogs."
There are already several protests set to go off today in Philly -- no word if Pink plans to join in.

Let the booing begin -- Michael Vick has officially been signed by an NFL team.
Vick's agent told ESPN the quarterback/canine's worst nightmare just signed a two-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Details of the deal have yet to be released, but you can bet the doghouse he won't reclaim his spot as the NFL's highest paid player.

Michael Vick's days as quarterback might be over -- because last night in Virginia, the former dogfighting Atlanta Falcon told our Fantasy Football playin' photog to mark him down as a "tight end."

Ironically, that was also his nickname in prison.

We now know why we spotted Michael Vick trolling around the Chicago airport -- he's there to howl about the unethical treatment of canines at an event for the Humane Society of the United States.
A rep for the H.S. tells us Vick just spoke at an anti-dog fighting event in the Englewood section of the city -- which will help raise awareness about his efforts to clean up his own image.
If you're sad you missed Vick's speech, don't worry, the H.S. rep tells us it's all a part of his probation and he'll be doing this for "months and years" to come.

UPDATE: Jim Christman, the media services manager for the Bears, tells us Vick is not in town to meet with the Bears and he is definitely not joining the team.
Attention Fantasy Football Nerds: TMZ shot footage of Michael Vick in Chicago last night -- which begs the million dollar question ... is Vick destined for Da Bears!?

Dude wasn't in the mood to talk when we spotted him at O'Hare Airport in Chi-Town -- but with rumors swirling that he's close to a deal with a mystery NFL team, this footage could be a HUGE clue.
The message here: If your commissioner is stupid enough to hold an early draft, don't select Jay Cutler just yet...

With the sun poking gently through the clouds, a calm lake glistening in the background, and majestic trees swaying in the breeze, Michael Vick is somehow finding a way to ride out his nightmarish "home confinement" sentence at his sprawling Virginia estate.

TMZ obtained several photos of Vick -- who was found guilty of charges related to brutally slaughtering innocent dogs in 2007 -- enjoying a Memorial Day weekend BBQ in his personal waterfront detention center. Among the festivities, the ankle-bracelet sportin' prisoner found time to steal a sunset smooch with one of his baby mamas.
Vick still has to serve two more months of this hell. At least he gets conjugal visits...

Newly freed dog-fighter Michael Vick is gonna need a hammer and a hard hat to rebuild his image -- dude just got a job as a construction worker.
TMZ has learned Vick is set to start his work release job at WM Jordan Construction in Virginia. But if the former NFL star is sent out into the field, he will be extremely limited -- meaning he won't be allowed to work on any government sites because he's a felon.
We're told people in the company think Vick got the job because he used to work for the company back in his Virginia Tech days.

Lock up your puppies -- Michael Vick is out of prison.
Vick left prison early this morning and is on his way to his home in Hampton, Va. where he will serve the final two months of his federal sentence on house arrest.
His release was shrouded in secrecy over concerns for his safety.
Vick served the past 19 months at Leavenworth Penitentiary in Kansas after pleading guilty to bankrolling a dogfighting ring.

Everyone is expecting Michael Vick to return to the football field after his incarceration, but he has other plans -- as in floorplans.
Vick's lawyer announced in Bankruptcy court today that the former QB has a construction job lined up after his prison release and Vick will work a regular 40 hour work week. Further details about wages or the duration of his new career were unavailable.
After being the highest paid player in the league, Vick was suspended indefinitely from the NFL after his 2007 indictment. The NFL Commissioner has said he will review Vick's status after he is released.
Who needs football when you can have drywall?

It looks like former Atlanta Falcons QB and current dog-killing inmate Michael Vick is following in O.J. Simpson's footsteps -- he's shopping around a book about his life and crimes.
The proposed memoir of Vick's rise from poverty to stardom would likely be an attempt to show the NFL that he's sorry enough to be let back in the league. You know, sorry about the dogs, dog fighting and dog imprisonment, but also sorry for going to jail for 23 months. Remember, this is the NFL... it's almost impossible to get suspended forever. They still like O.J. and he killed his wife got imprisoned for stealing memorabilia.
The book will likely be a mixture of the "Da Vinci Code" and O.J.'s "If I Did It." Except with more dog torture. And 100% ghostwritten.

Maybe it was the gaudy #7 emblazoned in the downstairs carpet or a recent rerun of the horror flick "Pet Cemetery" -- but either way, the word "sold" wasn't muttered at Michael Vick's home auction today.

Although no dog fighting occurred on the property, only two potential purchasers showed up to Vick's 8 bedroom, 11 bath Duluth mansion -- and neither were able to put up a qualifying bid (including a $160,000 cashier's check), according to the AJC.
The house -- which is being auctioned as part of Vick's bankruptcy case -- won't sell for anything less than $3.2 million. For now.

The 22 dogs rescued from Michael Vick's dog fighting farm of death have moved on from their days of paw-to-paw combat to grace the labels of their own brand of wine: The Vicktory Dogs Wine Collection.

A brief story about each pup's life will be on the back of their individual labels and 10% of the vino's proceeds will go to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary -- where they all hang their collars -- in southern Utah.
Meanwhile, somewhere in prison, Michael Vick is stuck with his cellmate's famous brand of toilet wine.
