Mick Jagger -- It's How He Rolls

It's awesome to get Mick Jagger in Hollywood -- Bardot last night, to be specific. We expected he'd leave in a Bentley, but these are difficult times, even for 65-year-old rock legends. So, an Audi does just fine.

Hollywood Urban Legends

Urban legends are stories with obscure origins, usually with little or no supporting evidence. Crazy circumstances associated with some of our favorite A-listers -- just happen to be true, while some are just myths. Find out which of Tinseltown's most outrageous legends are for real, and which are just a lot of baloney.

Manson Wonder Boy -- FALSE!

Although Marilyn Manson, formerly Brian Warner, reminds us of the kid that was tormented in school for his nerdy appearance, he didn't play one on TV. The actual actor was Josh Saviano. You might also remember Josh from his TV movie, "Camp Cucamonga." Or not. Either way, this legend is as made up as Manson.

Jagger and Bowie Busted -- It's TRUE!

David and Mick were dancing in the sheets, or at least just passed out naked when Angela Bowie walked in on the two. Angela went on the Joan Rivers show to dish on her ex-marriage, just after a ten-year silence agreement had expired. She got cold feet at first when Joan and fellow guest Howard Stern starting digging for the goods.

Eventually, she spilled the beans. She later reneged on the issue of bisexual implications, saying that the two were asleep and just happened to be naked. She later claimed that she believed what everyone else assumed. So, according to David Bowie's ex-wife, this legend is no myth.

Mick Jagger: The Stones Will Roll On

In the past few months the Rolling Stones have had a few "setbacks" to their ongoing world tour. First, while in Fiji in April of this year, guitarist Keith Richards reportedly fell out of a palm tree requiring some serious medical attention and the Stones had to restructure parts of their tour. Stories differed on how serious the injuries were at the time, but Richards is said to be on the road to recovery and will be ready to play again in July.

Now that Richards is on the mend, the latest Stone to take a tumble is Ronnie Wood. People Magazine reports that Wood entered rehab in London for alcohol treatment. A publicist for the Stones says Wood, now 59, "needs some rest, but he will definitely be fit for the first night of the European tour."

The European leg of their "Bigger Bang Tour" is set to kick off July 11th in Milan.  Will Wood be out of the proverbial woods by then? In between watching World Cup matches Mick Jagger reassured fans that the shows will go on: "Keith is doing great, and so's Ronnie. We'll still be doing the tour, don't worry."

NFL Edits Out Explicit Stones Lyrics

By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

They may not have flashed any body parts except for Mick Jagger's well-toned stomach but the Rolling Stones made ABC glad editors were on duty for the Super Bowl halftime show.

Two sexually explicit lyrics were excised from the rock legends' performance Sunday. The only song to avoid the editor was "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," a 41-year-old song about sexual frustration.

In "Start Me Up," the show's editors silenced one word, a reference to a woman's sexual sway over a dead man. The lyrics for "Rough Justice" included a synonym for rooster that the network also deemed worth cutting out.

ABC was the first network to impose a five-second tape delay on the Super Bowl, although it said the changes to the Stones' show were made by the NFL and its producers. The sensitivity no doubt reflects a lingering reaction to Janet Jackson's infamous wardrobe malfunction two years ago.

The Stones probably didn't mind, either. It brought a little rock 'n' roll danger to the ultimate "safe" gig and if they're lucky it distracted attention from their mediocre show.
