It may be the dumbest move of all time: A man risking his personal freedom, public humiliation and his entire career -- all because he wanted to illegally burn a copy of "The Love Guru."
As if sitting through the flick wasn't punishment enough, a 28-year-old named Jack Yates was just sentenced to 6 months in a federal prison for burning illegal DVDs of the awful flick for his friends before the movie came out in 2008.
Yates' copy eventually made it to the 'net, where it was illegally downloaded more than 85,000 times.
Dude pleaded guilty to copyright infringement -- he's also guilty of the worst taste in movies ever.

Here's 52-year-old female "Star Wars" icon/celebuspawn Carrie Fisher (left) at a comic convention in San Francisco this weekend -- and "Austin Powers" himself Mike Myers (right) at some event a while back.

Does one of them make you horny?!
We're just sayin'.

Someone should tell Christina Aguilera the only people who go to Hyde anymore are Sean Stewart and Jack Osbourne.
Also in L.A.: Robbie Williams was "heavily medicated," Jason Castro dodged the paps and Benji Madden just wanted a little private time.
In NY: Rhianna and Mike Myers worked the TRL crowd, Billy Ray Cyrus was off to see Miley, LL Cool J's wife rocked a gold crutch and Rachel Bilson was cute as ever.

Want to relive your favorite "The Cat in the Hat" moments with the suit Mike Myers wore in the 2003 movie adaptation? This eBay auction gives you a chance to prance about, harassing the children and tormenting the family goldfish to your heart's content.
There's only one problem: the suit comes without the head and the hat. Fancy that. While the suit is an impressive piece of Hollywood memorabilia, it'll be tough convincing the kids you're the Cat in the Hat ... with a drawn-on cat mustache and trucker's cap. "And we did not like it. Not one little bit."

On a brisk Sunday evening in Manhattan, a trove of comedy's funniest guys (and a gal) descended upon the Mandarin Oriental hotel at the Time Warner Center -- but they seemed to be much more valued for their Sharpies than for their wit, at least to the eBay-razzi autograph seekers in the crowd. And TMZ's cameras were there to catch all the hilarity.
The procession of comedy stars, who were fresh from attending Comedy Central's first live event, "Night of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Benefit for Autism Education," at the Beacon Theater, seemed to cater to their fans graciously. Mike Myers seemed to accede to any fan who wanted his Hancock, Ricky Gervais found a fan's picture cackle-worthy, while Stephen Colbert, almost in character, did his business in a, well, businesslike manner.
The "SNL" posse then turned up and mugged for TMZ's cameras, including Fred Armisen, Will Forte, Amy Poehler and her hubby, "Arrested Development's" Will Arnett.

LOS ANGELES -- Actor-comedian Mike Myers and his wife, Robin Ruzan, are ending their 12-year marriage, a spokeswoman said Friday.
"They remain committed and caring friends," publicist Ina Treciokas said in a statement.
Myers and Ruzan, a writer and actress, were married in May 1993. They have no children.
Myers, formerly of 'Saturday Night Live,' has starred in all three 'Austin Powers' films and voiced the giant green ogre in the 'Shrek' films.
