Defying the Olsen Twin Vacant Stare Code of Stoic Conduct, Ashley Olsen actually showed some human-like behavior and hugged boyfriend Justin Bartha after arriving to LAX last night.

The child star/former meth addict looked peachy and fresh-faced as she told our cameras that she was "working on a new series ... and a couple of other things." She's back! She most recently appeared in the critically acclaimed "Pants-Off Dance Off" strip-to-a-video show on FUSE TV.

MK dipped into Neil George Salon for what appears to be a tweak on her blinding bleach job, emerging from the shop with a more golden hue to her blinding 'do.

Ashley and her stylistically-challenged sister, Mary-Kate, terrorized a West Hollywood supermarket on Monday with their livin' on the streets fashion horror.
A menacing MKO outdid herself, sporting the latest in gross-ery chic: a pair of red, striperella cha-cha heels and a fried white-blonde Donatella 'do. For her own safety, Ashley hid behind a flower arrangement while decked out in a pair of Sacajawea lace-up boots. Spare some change?
It takes millions of dollars to look this bad.

Fashionista beasties Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were snapped wrapped in fur as they capped a Paris trip, and MK has not scrapped her witch boots! Crapuleux!
Ashley, who made PETA's Worst-Dressed list in 2006, looks like she's wearing a black mink and her pint-sized platform jackboots as she leaves the posh Plaza Athenee hotel near the Champs Elysees. Oh, l'humanite!
Mary-Kate opted for a lighter mink jacket, her tragicomic white sunglasses, a green alligator purse, torn black leggings, an unfortunate skull scarf, and of course, yet another pair of five-inch ankle-high witch boots! L'horreur!
TMZ contacted PETA for comment, and Veep Dan Mathews said, "Maybe their granny left them those ratty furs. They should have buried the coats with her."

It seems Nicole Richie fired her stylist a little too late ... she just landed at the top of PETA's Annual Worst-Dressed List.
The animal rights group showed no mercy as they dug their their claws into fur-loving Richie by saying, "This pelt-wearing party girl is all animal skin and bones. She's an incredible shrinking woman with the heart to match." Meow!
PETA put Hollywood wonder twin Ashley Olsen in the #2 spot: "Wearing fur does add 20 pounds, but if Ashley wants to fill out her frame, we suggest using a fork instead." Ouch!
Christina Ricci landed at #3 for posing on a magazine cover wearing "fur from slaughtered reindeer." Fur-galicious Eva Longoria was named #4 because they wish "She'd be more sympathetic to the plight of rabbits, considering the way she screws around like one on Wisteria Lane." Well!
Notably absent from the list: Paris Hilton, who topped the list last year, and Beyoncé, who was ambushed by PETA at a restaurant last June for including fur in her fashion line.

The cracks are really starting to show in embattled pop princess Jessica Simpson's ever-more-fragile psyche – and her physiology as well.
In London last week, Jess fled the Storm Bar, where her sister Ashlee was holding court after her debut in "Chicago," in a huff, according to Page Six, yelling, "I don't want to be here – why won't people just leave me alone?" Her dad acknowledged to UK tabloid the Mirror that "Jess is quite down at the moment. She's not comfortable talking to people."
And, then, filming a spot for DirecTV, Simpson kept the assembled crew waiting for an hour because of a stomach bug. Her stylist-cum-right-hand-man Ken Paves was overheard saying, "Well, what do you want her to do, [bleep] her pants?" But Simpson's new rep said that it was all down to her voice not being healed. Of course, it can't help that, as sources tell TMZ, her ex-hubby Nick Lachey and MTV vixen Vanessa Minillo are "going strong" and that the pair spend "hours upon hours" holed up in Minillo's pad in Manhattan when Nick's in town.

When not sporting oversized sunglasses or visiting Starbucks, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen also find a little time to run their billion dollar corporation entitled Dualstar Entertainment Group. And by a little time we mean once a month.
TMZ has learned that the 20-year-old media titans and some-time NYU students, come into Dualstar's Culver City, Calif. offices around every 30 days.
But instead of attending executive meetings or going over financial reports, the doll-like duo prefer to hole themselves up in an office and chain smoke cigarettes for hours at a time.
Besides being an appetite supressant and bad for you, according to California law smoking indoors in public places also happens to be illegal.
While the former "Full House" stars may no longer need Uncle Jesse's permission, we bet the police and the Surgeon General probably have a thing or two to say about their latest extra-curricular activities.
