Although they broke up in 2007, rumors have been swirling recently that the former lovers were back on.

Owen Wilson nearly snuck out the back of New York's Waverly Inn last night, but he couldn't quite elude the paps -- and the resulting snapstorm was practically a cyclone.
Wilson finished his supper -- at the same celebritrough where Ashley Olsen, Lance Armstrong and Stephen Fry were also chowing -- and emerged nearly incognito. Alas, he got caught in a tornado of flashes, and then the professional doofus couldn't find his ride.
Perhaps the front door would have been easier.

ABC Talking Heads: Owen a Laughing Matter?
ABC "World News Now" anchors Ryan Owens and Taina Hernandez had a hard time keeping straight faces while reporting the alleged suicide attempt of comic actor Owen Wilson. The on air duo couldn't stop laughing while announcing Wilson's dramatic ordeal.
What had the two chuckleheads so giggly? It turns out that Owens and Hernandez have the maturity of 9-year-olds, and thought that the last name of Wilson's uncle -- Hoe -- was hilarious.
The pair offered an on air apology ... two days later.

Owen Wilson Resurfaces
Just out of the hospital, Owen Wilson spent the holiday weekend with a low-key family BBQ ... which also played host to a herd of snapping paparazzi.
Cameras caught a brief glimpse of Wilson as he arrived to his brother Luke's home, with Owen quickly ducking into the backyard when he found the front door locked.
Though his entrance was botched, Wilson was able to exit the party unnoticed.

Owen Wilson got a special hospital visit today from the one and only Samuel L. Jackson -- who knew they were buddies?
TMZ was outside of Cedars Sinai this afternoon as Samuel walked in to visit Wilson, and he was clearly taken aback by paparazzi presence.
Owen's brothers Luke and Andrew also checked in on the "Wedding Crashers" star, who was hospitalized yesterday afternoon for an undisclosed reason.

Owen Wilson Hospitalized
TMZ has confirmed that Owen Wilson was taken to the hospital Sunday in Los Angeles.
Santa Monica Police issued the following statement to TMZ: "On Sunday Aug. 26. 2007 at 12:10 PM, officers from the Santa Monica Police Department responded to a medical assistance call from the Santa Monica Fire Department at the 900 block of 23rd Street. The person was transported to a local hospital where they are being treated."
TMZ has learned the 911 call came in at 11:59 AM to the L.A. Fire Department.
Citing medical privacy laws, they would not release any additional information, nor would they comment on why he was transported.
A call to Owen's rep was not immediately returned.

Celebuspawn star Kate Hudson and a shirtless (and apparently underwearless) Dax Shepard were spotted hand-in-hand leaving Nobu restaurant in Malibu on Saturday night. Dax bared his bod so Kate could use his shirt to block her face from the paparazzi. There's a real gent!
The buff beau and Hudson hopped in a black convertible and drove off together.

They've unsuccessfully attempted to hide their relationship for some time now, but last night Owen Wilson took Kate Hudson to a premiere party -- finally acknowledging their relationship by appearing together and not just snapped on the fly by paparazzi.
The two were spotted rolling into the after party for "The Wendell Baker Story" premiere, a flick directed, produced and starring Owen's brother Luke, who was also at the bash.
Britney Spears was at Teddy's last night, a tidbit Sarah Silverman shared with photogs in an attempt to get them to stop shooting her (clearly knowing her place on the celebrity totem pole). "EXTRA" host Mark McGrath, "Entourage" shorty Kevin Connolly, Sean Stewart, David Weintraub and ex-"Desperate Housewives" hunk Josh Henderson were all partying at the Roosevelt Hotel club.
TMZ also caught Fergie, the as usual smokin' hot Kim Kardashian, and the still-got-it-goin'-on Rachel Hunter at the Avalon -- for a Lyric Culture fashion show.
