The mission? Sneak on to Paris Hilton's property, crawl past the heat sensors and lasers and ... wait ... the door is unlocked? Cancel that -- just walk in and take whatever.
According to the LAPD, the reason it was so easy to break into Paris Hilton's fortress is because she forgot to lock the front door. It's not like this is the first time. Paris was also jacked in 2004, and thieves made off with $100,000 in Hilton accessories.
Times are hard for everyone -- but a Hilton.

Well, Paris and Benji might be sick of each other too -- the couple spotted leaving a medical building together yesterday afternoon.
Also in L.A.: Jonah Hill was also under the weather at LAX, Janice Dickinson wanted some shots of vodka and Helio Castroneves gave his pick to win this season of "Dancing with the Stars."
In NY: Conan O'Brien said his show is moving to Baltimore, Kyra Sedgwick hid behind some sunglasses and "Battlestar Galactica" hottie Tricia Helfer hitched a ride with Grace Park.

Apparently, you can get AIDS by stepping into a puddle -- at least that's what Paris Hilton thinks.
TMZ caught the heiress leaving Les Deux last night, where she was swarmed by paps -- with the resulting crush causing her to step into a puddle. After someone screamed, "You stepped in sewer pee!" at her, Paris can be heard telling one of her buddies, "Oh my God, I have, like, AIDS." Nurse!

Nicole and Paris aren't wasting any time catching up with each other. The dynamic duo was caught out yesterday cruising around town in Nicole's Mercedes SUV driven by another unidentified male friend. Since the pair's recent reunion, the "Simple Life" stars have been inseparable.
First the pair met at up Dan Tana's restaurant on Sunday night where the girls ate some grub and made up. And yesterday they took their on-again friendship to the drive-thru at McDonald's. These two always have been a match made in food heaven.
