The pappers had no problem picking Pat Sajak out of a lineup in front of The Ivy -- too bad the same couldn't be said for his bud, "Scarface" and "Big" star Robert Loggia.

"Wheel of Fortune" consonant stud Pat Sajak is TMZ's hero ... at least according to him.


Our cameras caught the wheel spinner with wife Lesly at Crustacean this weekend -- and after raving about Patti LaBelle's concert, he supposedly saved our photog's life. Thanks, Pat!
