Queen Elizabeth II and her monster bling are looking to spread the Christmas cheer to as many people as possible -- religious or not -- by hooking up with YouTube to broadcast her 50th holiday message. The Queen and Tay Zonday in the same place? Brilliant!
Her Majesty has been given her own "channel" on the Tube, where archive footage including her maiden Christmas Day speech in 1957 -- when she addressed Britain and its former colonies -- will start being posted sometime today.
The 81-year-old Queen of the Brits' annual Xmas speech is the only time during the year she writes her own lines without the gub'ments advice. Sweet freedom!

Like a queen probably should, Queen Elizabeth was not amused when photographer Annie Leibovitz asked her to doff her tiara. But, contrary to reports, the monarch did not storm off the photo set in a royal huff.
BBC camerascaught Queen Elizabeth in a rather uncharacteristic moment of pique while being shot by Leibovitz for a portrait. The famed photog suggested that QE2 take off her tiara because the shot would be "less dressy" without it, slightly absurd given that her majesty was already wearing layers of elaborate robes.
"Less dressy? What do you think this is?" snaps the Queen, referring to her Garter robe.
In a BBC promo for a documentary about the Queen, it looks like she ditches the shoot, muttering to a lady-in-waiting, "I'm not changing anything. I've had enough dressing like this, thank you very much." But the BBC had to grovel at the Queen's feet today, admitting that that episode actually took place before the photo shoot, and that the Queen didn't, in fact, throw a tantrum.

He's not only a prince; now William, 24, is an army officer to boot.
The oldest son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana was commissioned today at the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst, England. During the ceremony the Prince handled a military assault rifle complete with a bayonet. What a badass!
William's regal grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, 80, addressed the class with her son Charles taking the salute.
Kate Middleton, the Prince's on-off girlfriend, stole attention in a red dress and oversized black hat -- possibly taking fashion tips from Posh.

Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, attended a benefit premiere of "Casino Royale" in London tonight.
Other queens, like Elton John, were seen scrambling just before Her Royal Highness pulled up in a swank limo. The Queen, 80 (not Elton), dragged her consort, Prince Philip, to the shindig.
The queen looked noticeably excited to meet Daniel Craig (Elton that is).
