Brad Pitt had a brick of hash in his home last year -- and according to Quentin Tarantino ... he was definitely in the mood to share.
Tarantino was on Howard Stern yesterday, where he told the King of All Media about a night in 2008, when Pitt offered him a slice of the smokey smokey -- and a Coke can to smoke it out of.
According to Quentin, the stuff was "pretty good."
FYI: Brad recently told Bill Maher his pot smoking days are over -- but the stories ... those things will live on as long as Quentin's short term-memory holds up.

Nothing ruins a good friendship like money -- so it's safe to say Pierce Brosnan and Quentin Tarantino won't be talking to Michael Madsen anytime soon.
Seems Madsen is in debt to both guys big time. According to bankruptcy documents Madsen filed earlier this month, he owes $25,000 to 007 -- but he's into QT for a cool $1 million!
Pierce and QT shouldn't hold their breath while they wait for the "personal loans" to get paid back -- Madsen is almost a total of $4 million in the hole, and the docs say his net monthly income is $-3,392.

Here's movie director Quentin Tarantino (left) -- and the sassy plastic puppet Madame (right).

One of them was a bizarro mentor on "American Idol" this week.
We're just sayin'.

She's the most well known '70s blaxploitation actress ever -- and had a career resurgence after doing Quentin Tarantino's "Jackie Brown" -- but yesterday at LAX, Pam Grier still got the dreaded Q.... Who are you?

Paparazzi staked outside the Carlyle Hotel for TomKat were rewarded like whoa -- the place was backed with other celebs like Julia Roberts, George Clooney, The Beckhams, Eva Mendes and little Michelle Trachtenberg.
Also in NY: Elle Macpherson got totally lost looking for a shoe store, the Olsens showed their faces, Beyonce's handler got booed, Sarah Michelle Gellar looked cute as ever and Dita Von Teese said drag queens copy her look.
In L.A.: Quentin Tarantino sucked down a margarita, Charlize Theron thought it was hilarious she got in the wrong car, Mel B and her husband make out in the back of theirs and Natalie Imbruglia was still bombarded for autographs even though she's done nothing since 1997.

Quentin Tarantino is known for his creepy obsession with women's feet -- that must explain why he looked so happy to be in the Barney's shoe department.
Those closed-toed shoes may put a dent into his vigorous toe-sucking schedule though.

He went out for raw fish, but Quentin Tarantino was in the mood for a little piggie instead.

TMZ spotted the director sucking the nail polish off some random woman's foot at Empress sushi joint on the Sunset Strip recently. After the "meal" and a few drinks, Q posed for pictures and hopefully downed some Scope.
As if Grindhouse weren't gory enough ... now Quentin's putting down his foot.

No more "View" means no more talking about celebrity scandals, and Rosie O'Donnell couldn't be happier. Writing in her blog this weekend, Rosie expressed relief at not having to cover Lindsay Lohan's weekend DUI arrest around coffee and danish with her fellow "View" cohosts:
lindsay lohan
dui again
relief i dont have 2 discuss it
on Tuesday
O'Donnell then goes on to reassure fans that she'll be back, somehow, some way, and this time, it'll be without Hasselbeck, Behar or Babwa!
the ?s will b back soon
but no more view ones
as we all try to move on
ok
Okay!
Liev Schreiber Raises Eyebrows

Naomi Watts baby daddy Liev Schreiber has fashion and beauty tips for President Bush? The "Omen" star told Air America host Rachel Maddow he thinks that he could help the president "be cooler. I think he's working the alpha-male thing a little too hard, and I think his eyebrows are getting stuck ... so then, when he wants to switch to a light note, it's kind of hard, because the mouth goes, but the eyebrows don't. You don't trust someone whose eyebrows don't move in unison with their mouth."
Perhaps they should go to the salon together?
Cannes: Big Directors Biggest Losers

A Romanian film called "4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days" beat out a bunch of seasoned vets yesterday to win the coveted Palme d'Or award at the Cannes Film Festival. The cheery film, about 1980s communist Romania, beat out star directors Quentin Tarantino, Gus Van Sant, Wong Kar Wai and the Coen Brothers.
C'est la vie! The French filmfest did award a special 60th Anniversary Prize to "My Own Private Idaho" director Gus Van Sant -- for his new film "Paranoid Park."

Quentin Tarantino sure knows how to strike an outrageous pose.
The eccentric director hijacked a tourist couple's sidewalk photo shoot outside Winston's, jumping into their shots and making absurd faces and Vogue-like poses. The couple didn't seem to mind though -- they'll go back to Ohio with photos of Tarantino!
Tarantino's badass "Death Proof" star Rosario Dawson and Lindsay Lohan were also at the club, with Lohan flashing some much friendlier sign language to TMZ cameras than she did the previous evening.
At Teddy's, a shady Sean Stewart, son of Rod, announced he was going to "f**k" the unlucky blonde leaving with him, though she wisely denied it and hid her face in embarrassment. Rod indeed.
Also out: a covered up Courtney Love, the always gorgeous Cindy Crawford, another fine mess Kelly Osbourne in her Oliver Hardy look, and Demi Moore, looking sporty on her way to the gym.
All this in today's tourist-friendly Star Catcher.

Did you ever wonder what would happen if the chracters from "Grindhouse" showed up in the Bahamas and crashed the Dannielynn custody hearing? Wonder no more!
David Spade and Quentin Tarantino took the time to painstakingly simulate what would happen if Cherry, Rose McGowan's character in the "Planet Terror" half of "Grindhouse," were to come face-to-face with Larry Birkhead, Howard K. Stern and the rest of the trial's participants (which somehow includes OJ Simpson and Sanjaya).
Let's just say it doesn't end well for any of them.

Jessica Alba is the saddest clubgoer TMZ has ever seen -- looking more like part of a funeral procession last night than a partier at Winston's.
Walking somberly, her head down and clutching some non-Cash Warren arm candy, the "Fantastic Four" star flashed no smile to the flashing paparazzi, one of whom tried to elicit a smile by talking to her in a Mickey Mouse voice. Nice try, but no dice.
Also at Winston's last night was a grotesquely dressed Lindsay Lohan -- who got out the back door, sparing people in front from having to see her getup.
Jump to NYC, where "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star Alfonso Ribeiro found himself watching some very energetic fans do the "Carlton Dance" on the streets outside Butter. The club was also peopled by Jay-Z, Quentin Tarantino, sexy Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio, and the girls from "The Hills" -- LC, Whitney & Audrina -- who partied with fellow MTV reality show star Ashley Parker Angel.
All this and more in our cross-country edition of Star Catcher.

Quentin Tarantino put some terrifying moves on one unlucky lady last night.
TMZ cameras caught the "Kill Bill" director at a Grammy after-party last night -- creepily grinding against the behind of a short-haired hottie. Tarantino then began reenacting a scene in "From Dusk Till Dawn" by repeatedly sucking the back of her neck!
The smiling victim was apparently happy to see Quentin, and the two left together.

TMZ was out on the town Monday night and we ran into a couple of unusual suspects.
Our very own Josh Levine spotted Oscar-nominated Leonardo DiCaprio at Hyde, a trendy little joint located on Sunset Blvd., trying to make a stealth exit out the back door. The talented actor dressed very casual for his evening out, sporting a baseball hat and white tee.
Our cameras were also at celebrity favorite Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills, where we ran into the very talented Quentin Tarantino. The "Kill Bill" director showed up for a bite to eat, but not before stopping to pose for the paparazzi and autograph seekers.
Check out this rare version of Star Catcher.

Quentin Tarantino, creator of such esteemed art house date films as "Reservoir Dogs" and "Pulp Fiction," was on a panel at Comic-Con this weekend to discuss his and Robert Rodriguez's upcoming double film "Grindhouse" when he told the audience that he wanted to do not one but two "Kill Bill" prequels.
One prequel will cover Bill's back story and would feature Pai Mei, Esteban Vihaio, sword maker Hatori Hanzo and, of course, Bill.
The second will be the further adventures of Uma Thurman's character The Bride, possibly working as an assassin for Bill.
The real kicker about this announcement was Tarantino wants the films to be anime-inspired, not unlike the Oren-Ishii sequence in the first "Kill Bill" film. This news alone should have Tarantino and anime fans salivating.
Of course, Tarantino is known to throw out ideas that either don't come to fruition or take years to make. We're still waiting for the "Inglorious Bastards."
Let's keep our fingers crossed just in case.

Thurman showed off her fighting skills in the "Kill Bill" films and vocals in "The Producers" but her latest film displays her greatest talent yet: shark chucking. In "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" Thurman plays G-Girl, a superhero who uses her powers to throw a shark through her ex-boyfriend's window.
"It was such fun. It was incredible fun," said the actress of the fishy scene at the film's premiere, "I think I throw the shark for every girl in America. It's my by-line. Shark chucking at someone who breaks your heart seems like just-desserts."
Thurman was joined on the red carpet by the man who revived her career, Quentin Tarantino, and he had only glowing things to say about the former Beatrix Kiddo.
"She has a presence to go behind her talent. She's like an old movie star, like from the old days. Uma Thurman would have been a movie star in thirties in the forties. She'd be having tea with Garbo. They would be trying to do the Uma Thurman story. We don't have that many people like that anymore so she really fills up the screen."
Uma will fill up the screens again on July 21 when "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" opens in theaters.
