A judge threw out a case against Bob Barker -- the former host of "The Price is Right" -- ruling the claim by a former black show employee that Barker tolerated racism was bogus.
Deborah Curling sued Barker, alleging racial, anti-Semitic and sexist jokes were rampant on the set.
The judge had previously thrown out most of the case -- but now the fat lady has sung on Curling's case.
The only issue "The Price is Right" has with color involve the choices for some of the cars they give away -- a burnt-orange Pontiac ... please.
Some hate-spewing cyber coward has hijacked the official MTV website for the hit show "Rob and Big" -- and replaced an innocent poll with a racist attack on one of its stars.
The poll, which was first discovered by MediaTakeOut.com, has obviously been hacked -- but it's unclear how long it's been up on the MTV site. The poll reads:
What has been your favorite part of Rob and Big?
- HOW BIG BLACK IS A HUGE N**GER AMIRITE? - how much they love ebaums - meaty is a meme - Seeing Big Black in a thong while sucking rob's balls off - The torture of Drama who will soon kill everyone and result in an hero
FYI -- The "Rob and Big" show wrapped up back in '08.
Attempts to reach MTV for comment were unsuccessful.
Brad Garrett ignited a new racial firestorm yesterday when the giant actor dropped some serious slurs at a paparazzo during a heated argument in the middle of the street.
We don't know what set off the scuffle, but Garrett can be clearly heard saying, "Wear the turban! Wear the turban!" People had to restrain both Garrett and the photog from attacking each other, but eventually Brad got into his car and drove off.
A rep for Garrett was not immediately available for comment.
Long known for their biting social commentary, a Turkish TV reporter donned blackface during a newscast yesterday while doing a report about President Barack Obama.
Al Jolson would be proud. Everyone else? Not so much ...
UPDATE -- TMZ spoke to a translator at the Turkish Bureau of Tourism who told us the video is actually pretty funny, if you speak Turkish. Apparently there is even a Clinton/Lewinsky joke. Those funny Turks!
Al Sharpton still respects his elders -- even the ones who call him a "professional racist." In fact, he blames Jackie Mason's age for the entire racially charged mess the comedian got himself into.
Even though Mason chose to attack The Rev hours after calling Obama a "Schwartza" this weekend, Sharpton was cool at LAX, clasping his hands together and saying, "At this stage in Jackie's life, we should pray for him."
The Reverend Al Sharpton is putting the smack down on the New York Post, suggesting racism could be a factor in a political cartoon featured in this morning's edition.
The cartoon (by Sean Delonas) comes in the wake of yesterday's national news story about the cop who shot and killed a rampaging chimp in Connecticut. But the controversy in the comic comes from the dialogue between the two officers -- which reads, "Now they will have to find someone else to write the stimulus bill."
Before most of you woke up, Sharpton already fired off a statement saying, "The cartoon in today's New York Post is troubling at best given the historic racist attacks of African-Americans as being synonymous with monkeys. One has to question whether the cartoonist is making a less than casual reference to this when in the cartoon they have police saying after shooting a chimpanzee that "Now they will have to find someone else to write the stimulus bill."
"Being that the stimulus bill has been the first legislative victory of President Barack Obama (the first African American president) and has become synonymous with him it is not a reach to wonder are they inferring that a monkey wrote the last bill?"
Calls to the Post have not been returned.
UPDATE: The editor-in-chief of the NY Post just released this statement: "The cartoon is a clear parody of a current news event, to wit the shooting of a violent chimpanzee in Connecticut. It broadly mocks Washington's efforts to revive the economy. Again, Al Sharpton reveals himself as nothing more than a publicity opportunist."
Former legendary L.A. Laker Elgin Baylor has just filed a lawsuit against the L.A. Clippers and the NBA, claiming he's the victim of rampant racial discrimination.
In the lawsuit, filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, Baylor -- who was unceremoniously dismissed as VP and General Manager last October -- claims the team has "egregious salary disparities" based on race. Baylor claims he was told to "induce African American players to join the Clippers, despite the Clippers' reputation of being unwilling to fairly treat and compensate African American players." Baylor says the owner, Donald Sterling, has a "pervasive and ongoing racist attitude."
Baylor cites the case of NBA player Danny Manning, where Sterling allegedly said, "I'm offering a lot of money for a poor Black kid." The suit claims Sterling repeatedly referred to the team as "poor Black kids" and "he wanted a White coach directing the Clippers." Sterling is being sued as well.
Baylor says he personally got stiffed, only being paid $350,000 a year since 2003, when a "Caucasian head coach was given a 4 year, 22 million dollar contract."
Here's the best part. The suit says, "At all relevant times mentioned here, Mr. Baylor was an African American male over the age of 40."
Not only did Tara Reid need to set up a fake scene for a phony reality show to get into Hyde last night, but TWO members of the D-lister's crew dropped racially-charged remarks to our cameraman on her way in.
BTW -- after we stopped rolling, the blonde guy apologized to our cameraman, and insisted, "I'm not a racist."
In her latest WTF moment, Amy Wineheezy's hubby eggs her and a friend on as they sing a totally disgusting and racist song. This one ain't gonna make the Top 40.
Winehouse later apologized for the offensive ditty.
One of Dog Chapman's sons is coming to his defense, claiming his dad "is not this monster that people think."
TMZ TV had an exclusive interview with Christopher Hecht, who tried to defend his mulleted father by offering such gems as, "My dad's not a racist man, if he was, he would have no hair, he'd have swastikas on his body and he'd go around talking about Hitler."
The Dog has been enduring serious heat since an N-word tirade was leaked to the National Enquirer by another son, Tucker, last week. A remorseful Hecht also sold an anti-Dog story to the magazine -- for which he was paid $6,000. He is now apologizing to his Dog dad, claiming he agreed to talk to the tabloid only for the money. He even offers a thought of what happened between his brother and father. Judge for yourself!
According to sources, the hopped-up comedian hopped onstage Saturday at L.A.'s Improv comedy club and dropped the n-bomb on a room full of stunned clubgoers.
Andy was heckling comedian Ian Bagg during his routine, when Dick allegedly got out of his seat, jumped onstage and began joking with Bagg. The subject of Michael Richards came up, but the two comics quickly moved past it. As Dick exited the stage, he suddenly grabbed the mic and shouted at the crowd, "You're all a bunch of niggers!"
The stunned crowd gasped and stared at each other. Bagg tried to play it cool and move on with his set, but the laughs weren't there.
Calls to Dick's rep were not immediately returned.
UPDATE:TMZ has received a statement from The Improv acknowledging the incident: "The Improv is aware of Andy Dick's behavior on Saturday night. Our policy is that material deemed offensive by both famous and up and coming comedians is judged on a case by case basis. In this particular case, Mr. Dick was commenting on a current event. Was it intelligent? No. Was it funny? No. But was it racist? No. It was not directed at any audience member in particular and although it was in bad taste -- it was a comment on the Michael Richards fiasco."
Whats the deal with Michael Richards? The former "Senifeld" star unleashed a tirade of racial slurs toward a group of African-American audience members who heckled the "comedian." Warning: This video is profane and racial. Maybe Beyonce hates the crowded conditions of the Area nightclub, or perhaps she was just tuckered out from slaughtering defenseless animals for her fur coats. Whatever the reason, it didn't stop her man Jay-Z from having fun while Beyonce sat in the car for 40 minutes, presumably adjusting the stereo pre-sets.
WARNING: WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO SEE IS PROFANE AND RACIAL
Michael Richards exploded in anger as he performed at a famous L.A. comedy club last Friday, hurling racial epithets that left the crowd gasping, and TMZ has obtained exclusive video of the ugly incident.
Richards, who played the wacky Cosmo Kramer on the hit TV show "Seinfeld," appeared onstage at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood. Kyle Doss, an African-American, told TMZ he and some friends were in the cheap seats and he was playfully heckling Richards when suddenly, the comedian lost it.
The camera started rolling just as Richards began his attack, screaming at one of the men, "Fifty years ago we'd have you upside down with a f***ing fork up your ass."
Richards continued, "You can talk, you can talk, you're brave now motherf**ker. Throw his ass out. He's a nigger! He's a nigger! He's a nigger! A nigger, look, there's a nigger!"
The crowd is visibly and audibly confused and upset. Richards responds by saying, "They're going to arrest me for calling a black man a nigger."
One of the men who was the object of Richard's tirade was outraged, shouting back "That's un-f***ing called for, ain't necessary."
After the three-minute tirade, it appears the majority of the audience members got up and left in disgust.
Attempts to reach Richards' reps were unsuccessful.
