Ready To Roll Limo: We Don't Tape Our Clients!

Re: the TMZ story about Ready to Roll limo service, Gale Rickett, the owner, gave us the following statement:

"The allegation that we secretly film celebrities in the back of our cars is simply untrue. We would never trespass the privacy of any client."

Rickett added, "We do have a recording device that faces outward over the hood. The purpose is to record any accidents and is triggered only by impact. The camera is made by DriveCam. 40% of limo companies use DriveCam."

Rickett went on to say, "I have been in business for 25 years. We are extremely discreet and we have all of our drivers sign confidentiality agreements and we take privacy very seriously."

Spacey and Others Clients of Video Limo Co.

Kevin SpaceyTMZ has learned the names of some of the celebs who have been driven by the limo company that rolled video inside the limo.

As we reported, Ready to Roll has driven Britney Spears, but the A-list is much longer. Other celebs driven by the company include Kevin Spacey, John Goodman, Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman and many others.

We're told one of the drivers, Kenny Nervik, drove Spacey for more than a decade. Nervik was arrested July 2 and charged with sexually assaulting four kids, all under 16. Three of them were his foster kids.

Ready to Roll would not tell TMZ if the celebs were also audio taped.

We asked Spacey about Ready to Roll tonight as he showed up for a Broadway play in NYC, but he was mum.

Celeb Limo Co. Ready to Roll ... Cameras

One of the biggest limo companies in New York City videotapes its celeb passengers -- including, we're told, Britney Spears -- and they've got hours of tapes of stuff those celebs probably wouldn't want you to see.

Our spies say the wife of a driver who was recently fired has called around to some of her hubby's famous clients, blowing the whistle. We hear some of those celebs are, in a word, outraged.

Ready to Roll acknowledges the taping to TMZ, but claims a light goes on when the camera rolls. And, of course, after a six-hour flight, everyone's looking for a little light.

Now here's the really scary part. The company wouldn't say if it records audio as well. Think about those phone calls, all you celebs.

The company wouldn't discuss the fired driver, saying that it's a "legal matter." The owner of the company tells TMZ that the allegation is "untrue."
