Jon Gosselin is not going to hook up with Octomom for a TV special, because his "spiritual advisors" had a bad feeling about the project. Who knew we were spiritual advisors?
We got a statement that Jon's "talent" agent sent to the producers of "Jon - Kate = Jon + Octomom" saying, "While Jon appreciates the consideration and the potential revenues that it offers, after reviewing with both the management team and his spiritual advisors Jon has decided it is not in his best interest to pursue a show of this nature."
The "Dear Jon" letter continues, "... it is important to Jon to focus on his family and repairing the relationship that Jon and Kate need to have, both for themselves and for the sake of their children."
That's Jon Gosselin for you -- always doing the Lord's work.

The CEO of a big time reality show production company says Richard Heene lied his way through Hollywood trying to hock a reality show that could have put his kids in harm's way.
Tom Forman, the CEO of Relativity Real and creator of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," tells TMZ he saw the Heene family on "Wife Swap" and was both "intrigued and aghast." Forman says he ended up speaking with Heene on the phone a month ago and discussed Heene's idea for a reality show about his family -- including the small kids chasing storms.
Forman says Heene gave his word that he had not pitched the show to anyone else. Turns out, just days later, Forman's people were in a meeting with TLC about another show and they raised the Heene proposal. The TLC folks said not only had Heene pitched the show to them a week earlier, he flew to L.A. to personally make the sell.
Forman says Heene is a "liar" and he made one last call, telling Heene never to contact them again.

Now we know why the Larimer County Sheriff in Colorado thinks Richard Heene concocted his balloon plan 2 weeks ago ... because this is the profile he posted on RealityWanted.com, hocking himself to casting agents and producers as the next big reality star.
Heene created his profile on the website on September 28, 2009. So the posting dovetails with the Sheriff's theory.
Here's what's interesting. Although Heene described himself as research scientist, general contractor, high school educated, married, with children, male, and straight -- he didn't make a specific pitch for a specific show. The question -- why wouldn't he pitch the idea .... maybe because the core of the idea was a big hoax.

A lawyer for Richard Heene says he expects the suspected mastermind of the "Balloon Boy" hoax to be charged by Wednesday -- and when that happens Heene will plead not guilty.
Heene, less chatty than before, brushed past photogs this morning as he went into his home.

UPDATE 2:20 PM ET -- A TLC official tells TMZ the Heene family approached the network "months ago" with a reality show idea, but the network passed.
TMZ has learned the Heene family has been pitching a reality show about the wacky family, as one TV source put it, "all over town."
We're told Richard Heene pitched a series to Relativity Real, as well as RDF Productions. RDF produces "Wife Swap," on which the family appeared back in March.
We're also told the Heene's have made the rounds at the networks, including TLC. Of course, TLC produced "Jon & Kate Plus 8."
So is balloon boy the ultimate reality show pitch?

Katherine Jackson says Michael Jackson's kids will not appear on any TV reality show in her lifetime.
Katherine tells TMZ Michael would never want his kids to appear on TV, much less on a reality show. She says her son went to great lengths to protect the kids from TV cameras, often shielding them with masks.
There are reports A&E's Jackson reality show will include MJ's 3 kids. Katherine, who is the legal guardian of the kids and ultimately makes the decision, tells us it will NOT happen.

The Gosselins continued their messy break-up in the media today -- with Kate fighting back the waterworks while claiming she can't afford to pay her bills.
Kate came out swinging on "
Today" this morning, slamming Jon for
clearing $230,000 out of the couple's joint bank account: "You've left your children and their mother unable to pay for the roof over their head. It's unacceptable."
As for Jon's claim the children don't want to do the show anymore, Kate says there was "wailing and sobbing" when she broke the news to 'em that filming has halted.
As TMZ previously reported, Kate's lawyers are going to court today to demand the return of the cash and a contempt citation against Jon. Stay tuned ...

It took a few tries, but Jon Gosselin finally managed to post a sign outside his home in Pennsylvania that had all the words spelled correctly -- including his own name.
The only possible explanation for the first sign ... one of the kids made it.

Want to make a million dollars? Just have eight babies -- because Jon Gosselin says that's what the fam pulled in last year for pimping out his children.
As TMZ previously reported, Jon wants the kids off the show permanently, so goodbye paycheck.
Hope hosting those Vegas pool parties pays bank.

Sources connected with the production of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" "Kate Plus 8" tell TMZ all the hoo-hah has to do with $$$.
Sources on both sides tell us Jon Gosselin has been asking for his exit papers from the show for several months. Production sources say they were willing to continue giving Jon a full paycheck and not put him on the show, but there was one string attached -- that he couldn't do any other show without the permission of TLC. BTW, that's a standard condition in TV-land.
Production sources say Jon's lawyer was demanding that TLC let Jon do any show he wanted but TLC wouldn't budge. Production sources say Jon's lawyer then threatened to shut down production by claiming the show wasn't good for the kids, and that's just what happened.
But sources connected with Jon tell us Jon had been complaining for months about his kids being on the show and that the kids themselves were complaining. These sources say Jon was blindsided when TLC released a statement that the show would be called "Kate Plus 8" and that the result would be that the kids would have to be on camera a lot more.
Production sources say no way would the kids be on the camera more because it's just "Kate Plus 8."

Jon Gosselin has finally found religion for his children -- but it's a little late.
TMZ's confirmed Jon has sent a letter to TLC demanding they halt production of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" or any other show with his children STAT.
Gosselin now claims the filming is detrimental to his kids and he's now determined to bring in police if that's what it takes to stop the production.
So coincidence? Jon was just 86'd from the show -- which will be relaunched as "Kate Plus 8" in November -- and a day later he's suddenly worried about the kids he sporadically sees. A source connected with the production says Jon had no problem shooting the show as recently as last Friday ... but since he was essentially fired from the show this week, he's suddenly worried about his children.
FYI ... whoever put up the sign misspelled "penelty" and "Johnathon."

Puppies and babies are chick magnets -- moms are not.
But Jon Gosselin hasn't been single for awhile, so we'll forgive him the faux pas he pulled yesterday at Wet Republic at MGM Grand Hotel. But there was still a bevy of beauties coming in and out of John's cabana.
Although that was probably more the cameras than it was Jon's game.

Who knew Steven Seagal is still so hot people would sue over him.
A production company claims A&E stole its idea to do a reality show featuring Seagal. The Idea Factory claims it pitched some crazy ideas to A & E, including one where Seagal would live with Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme. A&E was not impressed.
But of course, A&E eventually saw the light and decided to create a show with Seagal, sans Norris and Van Damme -- and sans The Idea Factory.
A&E says the show will portray Seagal's "real life."
Apparently, The Idea Factory has made rumblings of a lawsuit -- and also sent A&E a bill for "a vast sum." So A&E has filed legal papers, asking a judge to say they don't owe The Idea Factory squat.

Sources tell TMZ cops have spoken with a man who was involved with the murdered model -- and a text message he received the last night of her life may be the key to unlocking this mystery.
Here's what multiple sources tell TMZ. The victim, Jasmine Fiore, and her husband, Ryan Jenkins (the "person of interest") were in San Diego for a poker tournament last Friday. At some point in the evening, Fiore texted Robert Hasman, a former boyfriend with whom she was involved before meeting Jenkins.
We're told Jenkins not only knew of Hasman, he was upset Hasman had been communicating with his wife while Jenkins was in Mexico shooting a reality show.
We're told Fiore texted Hasman on Friday night, saying she was going to travel to Las Vegas to see him.
Later that same evening, we're told Hasman received another text from Fiore's phone that just said, "suck it."
Police are exploring a theory that Jenkins may have seen the text Fiore sent to Hasman and then fired off the "suck it" message out of anger.
Fiore's body was stuffed in a suitcase and placed in a dumpster in Orange County, CA. Jenkins was the last person to see her and the one who reported her missing on Saturday night. He is now MIA. Cops say they are "suspicious" of Jenkins but he is not yet a suspect.
