TMZ has learned Renée Zellweger was just in a car accident in Beverly Hills.
We're told the actress is fine and there were no injuries -- her car was towed away from the scene.
At least one cop arrived on scene to help out.
It appears one of the headlights from Renée's car was shattered and one of the cars lost a license plate in the smash.
Sources close to Renée tell us, "This is not her fault. Someone made a U-turn into her."
UPDATE: Cops tell us the call came in at 11:00 AM PT -- no one was cited for the crash and there were no injuries.

Bradley Cooper and Renee Zellweger played it close yesterday in Barcelona -- with Renee making a grab for her alleged man's backside.
The two have not confirmed they're dating ... yet.

Paris Hilton's ex Benji Madden couldn't take his eyes off movie star Renée Zellweger, when the two crossed paths at a Hollywood parking lot on Wednesday.
Renée barely noticed ... she was busy getting coffee for more important people.

After multiple failed relationships with musicians -- like Jack White and Kenny Chesney -- Renee Zellweger has finally found a stable dude with a day job ... NBC legal analyst Dan Abrams.
The two lovebirds cuddled at a place where most healthy relationships blossom -- a liquor store in NYC.

Under the category "How Ironic," someone is trying to subpoena Renee Zellweger's diary.
Follow us here. The "Bridget Jones' Diary" star was filming "Cinderella Man" back in 2005, when Russell Crowe stopped the filming dead in its tracks because he dislocated his shoulder.
Because there was a 7-week delay, the production took longer than expected, and Zellweger had other projects she couldn't do. So the insurance company for the film reportedly negotiated a $3 million payout to Zellweger to account for her missed opportunities.
But now it seems the insurance company has filed suit over the whole mess and wants Zellweger to account for her time, presumably to show whether she really suffered a financial loss. So what do they want to prove their point -- Renee's diary!
No word on whether the judge will grant the request.

Renee Zellweger went to Starbucks for a venti mochaccino, what she got was a sneaky paparazzo.
Zellweger can be seen doing a double take at the pap who was trying to film her unnoticed -- telling the incognito photog "That's awesome! You're so clever."
Escaping the coffeehouse didn't do much good though -- there were even more photogs waiting outside.

Renee Zellweger was in the foulest mood imaginable yesterday -- perhaps it was her 12-year-old-boy's haircutaclysm that was giving her agita.
Renee swatted at a camera before going through security, resourcefully using her ticket as both a shield and a weapon.

Renee Zellweger recently told People magazine that she was moving to New York to avoid paparazzi. Well, so far, it hasn't worked.
Zellweger was in New York to shill for her new film, "Bee Movie," and was greeted by a snapstorm of shutters as she arrived at her Midtown hotel, and again when she left to go to attend the premiere. Despite her misgivings, she actually posed sweetly for cameras.
Elsewhere in NYC, Ciara celebrated her birthday at Nikki Beach ... just the first of many soirees, so she told us. And Petra Nemcova did her best to play hide and seek with the cams, but we still managed to spot her.

The Hampton Social @ Ross welcomed its usual crowd of aging New York celebrities -- and Mischa Barton.
The former "OC" actress arrived dressed like a futuristic flapper bot, with a wacky Willie Nelson headband. Flap, flap, flap away!
Also attending: comedy power couple Amy Poehler and Will Arnett, Sirius mega-millionaire Howard Stern and fiancee Beth Ostrosky -- who wasn't scared off by Howard's heinous shirt. Richard Gere dropped in, as did newsboy Ed Burns with model wife Christy Turlington, a not-so-fresh looking Renee Zellweger, and "SNL" mastermind Lorne Michaels.
Newest alcohol anklet wearer Eve was spotted at the U.S. Open tennis party at the Gansevoort Hotel, and "Sea of Love" actress Ellen Barkin had lunch at the Bread Factory Cafe.
Spotlight Live hosted WWE's "Biggest Fan Party" in Times Square, where wrestlers took the stage -- to sing karaoke! Seen leaving the event were monster-sized wrestler Batista and WWE Championship title holder John Cena.

Renee Zellweger can't seem to find a chair.
The actress and bookworm was caught on New Year's Eve, popping a squat to read a photography book in the middle of a Barnes & Noble. Then yesterday, she was spotted in the same position -- only this time in the middle of Los Angeles Airport, with her nose buried in Jimmy Carter's 'Our Endangered Values: America's Moral Crisis.'
The only crisis here is the Oscar-winner's lack of a seat.

Does Kenny Chesney have hair? He's always got a hat on.
It's true, Janet -- it seems as if Kenny Chesney may have been born with a hat on his head, as he's always wearing one. But we copped a picture of him sans accessory here in Las Vegas last year where it was undoubtedly too hot to be covering up. And to his look, we say rock on, Kenny, rock on!

If you've been looking to combine your love of oversized women's undergarments and movie memorabilia, then do we have a story for you.
A few weeks ago, Anna Mann purchased a pair of women's panties worn by Renee Zellweger and used in the movie "Bridget Jones's Diary" at a charity auction. Mann purchased the undies -- signed by "Bridget" co-star Hugh Grant -- for about $3,600, but felt that she could re-sell them on eBay to raise even more money -- didn't happen.
The auction ended yesterday with the selling price falling short of the reserve price. The bidding reached $7,020, but no word as to what the reserve price was set at.
Sellers on eBay can set a reserve price on their items -- meaning they don't have to sell it if the bidding doesn't reach that price.
The auction was supposed to raise money for The Royal Parks Foundation. Some scenes from the movie were shot in the Royal Parks in London.
