If you have ever wanted more bathrooms than you know what to do with -- then Richard Gere has got what you need.
Gere recently put his seven bedroom, 10.5 bath, Long Island farm house up for sale for a cool $8.8 mil. While there are other nice luxuries -- like a heated pool, guest house and an artists studio -- the main draw here is the ridiculous number of bathrooms.

The Hampton Social @ Ross welcomed its usual crowd of aging New York celebrities -- and Mischa Barton.
The former "OC" actress arrived dressed like a futuristic flapper bot, with a wacky Willie Nelson headband. Flap, flap, flap away!
Also attending: comedy power couple Amy Poehler and Will Arnett, Sirius mega-millionaire Howard Stern and fiancee Beth Ostrosky -- who wasn't scared off by Howard's heinous shirt. Richard Gere dropped in, as did newsboy Ed Burns with model wife Christy Turlington, a not-so-fresh looking Renee Zellweger, and "SNL" mastermind Lorne Michaels.
Newest alcohol anklet wearer Eve was spotted at the U.S. Open tennis party at the Gansevoort Hotel, and "Sea of Love" actress Ellen Barkin had lunch at the Bread Factory Cafe.
Spotlight Live hosted WWE's "Biggest Fan Party" in Times Square, where wrestlers took the stage -- to sing karaoke! Seen leaving the event were monster-sized wrestler Batista and WWE Championship title holder John Cena.

Hindu nationalists are burning Richard Gere in effigy -- no, not because of "Shall We Dance," but because of his over-affectionate behavior toward a popular Bollywood actress.
Photographs hit front pages of newspapers in India today, showing Gere kissing Shilpa Shetty on the cheek at an AIDS awareness event in New Delhi -- where public displays of affection are taboo. In protest, members of the right-wing Hindu nationalist group, Shiv Sena, beat burning effigies of Gere with sticks and burned pictures of Shetty.
In the video, Gere can be seen kissing Shetty several times on the hand before hugging and kissing her on the cheek -- cheered on by fans the entire time. When Gere took to the mic, he led to the crowd in a "No condom, no sex" chant in Hindi.
Shetty came to the defense of Gere today, saying, "I understand that it might have looked like he went slightly overboard, but that was really not the intention. His intention was that of entertaining the people. "

Sly started his career by flashing his flesh in a little flick called "Party at Kitty and Stud's." Although it sounds very "Weekend at Bernie's," don't let that fool you. It's full-on porno. The movie was later re-released under the title "The Itallion Stallion," after "Rocky" made Sly a household name. For those interested, the Itallion stallion is said to be far from a stallion, if you know what we mean. This just goes to show that even though you shouldn't believe everything you hear, sometimes you should.
Richard Gere's Gerbil Mayhem
Legend is that "Pretty Woman" star Richard Gere was rushed to the emergency room to have a gerbil removed from his rectum.

Although many sources have "confirmed" that an actual case (not Richard Gere) of the gerbil in the rectum does exist, TMZ wasn't able to find such a case. We will say that this myth is just that. A big lie that has been attached to many male stars, not just Richard. There is a rumor that Richard Gere believes Sylvester Stallone started this rumor when the two actors had bad blood on the set of the 1974 movie "The Lords of Flatbush." Sly, however, claims that he did not start this rumor. As far as we know, no actual rodents or rectums were harmed, just Gere's reputation.

Sylvester Stallone thinks that Richard Gere's still mad at him for starting that whole gerbil-in-the, well, you know, story.
Stallone tells AintItCoolNews.com (via Rush & Molloy) that Gere continues to harbor a grudge (if not a rodent) because Gere believes it was Sly who started that ridiculous urban legend about Gere and the gerbil. Here's the deal: Gere and Stallone were on the set of 1974's "The Lords of Flatbush" and the two actors got into a tiff over lunch one day -- something about chicken grease, Sly's thigh, and a hot dog -- whereupon Stallone elbowed him in the side of the head.
The tension between the two actors became so fevered that Gere got kicked off the film, which still angers him today, apparently: "To this day [he] seriously dislikes me," says Sly, who adds, for the record, that he did not start the rodent rumor. Gere's rep had no comment.

The end of days is here... well, at least the end of Katie Holmes' days as a free woman.
Today is the day Tom and Katie get married - finally - and the A-list guest-listers are going all out for the lavish ceremony. While guests like Will Smith, wife Jada Pinkett Smith and Brooke Shields looked classy and gave their well wishes to the couple as they left their hotel for the wedding, Victoria Beckham turned the paparazzi crush into the "Posh Show."
The former Spice Girl exited the Hassler Hotel with what can only be described as an oversized black plate wedged precariously on her head, posing for photos and turning the entranceway of the hotel into a fashion show.
With other guests like J. Lo, Richard Gere and Jenna Elfman in attendance, it sure sucks for them if they were sitting behind Beckham!
And in case you're wondering -- Cruise and Holmes have tied and knot and are officially husband and wife, their rep confirms to PEOPLE.
