Rob Thomas' band may wanna keep their sticks where they belongs -- gripped firmly in their drummer's hands.
Lisa Gelbard is suing Thomas' company Bidnis because she claims a drumstick thrown into the crowd at one of his 2005 solo concerts smacked her in the face -- causing her to suffer a herniated disk.
Lisa's hubby, who's included in the lawsuit and attended the concert with her, says he's suffered "the loss of his wife's services, support, consortium and the care and comfort of her society."
Rob's rep has yet to throw anything our way.

Tommy Lee didn't like where our line of questioning was going -- so he deflected attention to Sum 41 leader Deryck Whibley.
Also in L.A.: Audrina was mistaken for Heidi (the horror!), Too Short praised Ice T, Dana Delaney was unrecognizable without makeup and Cheryl Burke was almost panty-raided.
In NY: Mary J. Blige made it very clear who she was voting for, Rob Thomas went out with his gorgeous wife and Nickelodeon kid Josh Peck looked all growed up.

Eva's hubby and the Spurs got eliminated from the NBA finals -- so we wanted to know who she's rootin' for now that Tony's a no-go.
Also in L.A.: LiLo laughed at Dollywood wedding rumors, Victoria Beckham actually smiled, Eva Mendes shut down rehab talk, LeAnn Rimes couldn't talk at all and Cameron Diaz had no clue where she was going.
In NY: The Edge signed for fans, Rob Thomas celebrated his anniversary and Kristen Bell managed to walk with her head down and not smack into anything.

Flav has found a new "Flavor of Love" -- one of TMZ's cameramen!
TMZ spotted the rapper-turned-reality star on the sidewalk outside of Crustacean on Saturday, where Flav showed off his rhyming skills for Jack the photog. "Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack talk to Flavor, Jack got sick," rapped Flav, adding, "I love you Jack ... keep frosting Jack!"
Flav wasn't the only rapper out over the weekend -- with photogs catching Juicy J and DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia, Heavy D, Fabolous and Biz Markie.
Also out this weekend were tatty Tommy Lee, Rob Thomas, former baller Rick Fox and former baller Ron Jeremy in L.A. -- the boys hitting up the Prince show at the Roosevelt Hotel -- and Eva Longoria, plus a "Die Hard"- promoting Justin Long in NYC.

How did Madonna get the nickname "Madge"? --Melissa
Melissa, lots of people have to be wondering the same thing. "Madge" is a name the UK press gave to Madonna, a shortened combo version of "Her Majesty" and "Madonna." No one in her professional or personal life refers to her by that name ... we're guessing it didn't stick, or she just doesn't care for it!

There's nothing the stars love more than getting decked out for Halloween, and last night they went wild all across the country
Brandon Davis kept the "firecrotch feud" burning at Privilege nightclub in Hollywood by sporting a red-flame wig, while his brother Jason added to the night's fiery theme with a red devil costume -- although he looked more like the Kool-Aid Man instead.
We almost didn't recognize Kevin Connolly, who looked incredibly authentic as he dashed in and out of the club in a red a valet vest. His "Entourage" castmate Jeremy Piven was a little less mistakable as a western-style gunslinger.
Then there's Paris Hilton, who was dressed as, umm ... we're not quite sure what she was, but it's clear the girl loves to show off her bod.
We spotted more killer costumes on the East coast, our favorite being Christina Aguilera's stunning "Corpse Bride" inspired get-up. Vanessa Minnillo's sexy football player uniform was a very close second. Rob Thomas got into the sports-inspired theme as well, dressing as a dead baseball player. And it all went down at -- where else -- Marquee.
And while Erika Christensen showed off her Halloween spirit with a sexy Cleopatra-like outfit, her date, "6 Degrees" co-star Jay Hernandez, and Liev Schreiber committed the worst kind of Halloween faux-pas -- heading to a party without a costume. For shame.
