Rob Zombie's got a secret weapon for getting paparazzi off his back -- The Hoff!
TMZ caught the rocker-turned-horror-movie-director trying to fend off photogs outside Il Sole last night. After telling our camera that he didn't "have anything exciting planned," Zombie said the real story would be a shot of who was inside -- joking that David Hasselhoff was in the restaurant getting "tanked." KITT was not parked with the valet.
Also in L.A.: Tennis vixen Maria Sharapova was spotted leaving Mr. Chow, David Weintraub hit up Parc and 18-year-old celebuspawn Rumer Willis snuck out the back door of Hyde.
It was ladies night in NYC -- with Lindsay Lohan partying after her "Georgia Rule" premiere, and the Olsen twins, Kate Moss and Amy Winehouse heading to the Gramercy Park Hotel. The original Fergie, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, was also caught last night in New York, and Hayden Panettiere was out late with her jailbait friends.

Picture a movie theater packed with knife-wielding, masked maniacs -- that's Rob Zombie's twisted dream.
On his official MySpace blog for his upcoming remake of "Halloween," the rocker-turned-director is urging moviegoers to dress up as Michael Myers -- the film's serial killer, not the Canadian comedic actor -- when the flick opens in August.
He writes "Imagine the shocked look on everyone's faces when the lobby is jammed with Michael maniacs! Show the world that Michael is back and ready to destroy!" Creeeepy!
Come to think of it, everyone dressing up as the Canadian actor might be creepier.
