Rosario's Vegas Gamble
Rosario Dawson says she's moving to Las Vegas -- for the politics. Sure, there's a lot of reasons to move to Sin City -- the gambling, the glitz, the girls. But the "Clerks II" actress says she's buying a place in Vegas because she's uber committed to the upcoming elections.
Nevada's presidential caucus has been moved up, so Las Vegas is primed to play a bigger role in the primaries. "It's an up and coming state!" Dawson told People. Riiight. The slots and the showgirls have nothing to do with it.

Also out in New York were Devon Aoki, a very pregnant Jill Hennessy, hooded Cuba Gooding Jr., and a funny-faced "Chariot" singer Gavin DeGraw. L.A. was less exciting, with a dapper Sean Penn at Mr. Chow, Danny DeVito at Madeos, and the boys of Three 6 Mafia hit up Hyde.

Comic-Con -- the only place smokin' hot babes like Jessica Alba talk to guys dressed in Napoleon Dynamite costumes.
The annual four-day San Diego convention, specializing in the latest in comic books and fantasy/sci-fi/horror themed TV shows, movies and video games, took place over the weekend, and TMZ was there to catch every bizarre moment. Celebs like Alba (who had a pushy security guard), Rosario Dawson, Nic Cage, Robert Downey, Jr. and even Pee-wee Herman were caught mingling with characters like Storm Trooper Elvis, one-legged zombie hunter Cherry Darling, and the ever popular Princess Leia, in full Jaba the Hutt slave ensemble.

Tarantino -- Stranger Than Pulp Fiction
Quentin Tarantino sure knows how to strike an outrageous pose.
The eccentric director hijacked a tourist couple's sidewalk photo shoot outside Winston's, jumping into their shots and making absurd faces and Vogue-like poses. The couple didn't seem to mind though -- they'll go back to Ohio with photos of Tarantino!
Tarantino's badass "Death Proof" star Rosario Dawson and Lindsay Lohan were also at the club, with Lohan flashing some much friendlier sign language to TMZ cameras than she did the previous evening.
At Teddy's, a shady Sean Stewart, son of Rod, announced he was going to "f**k" the unlucky blonde leaving with him, though she wisely denied it and hid her face in embarrassment. Rod indeed.
Also out: a covered up Courtney Love, the always gorgeous Cindy Crawford, another fine mess Kelly Osbourne in her Oliver Hardy look, and Demi Moore, looking sporty on her way to the gym.

"Sunshine" Rains on Everyone's Parade
If only the Oscars were this much fun!
Sarah Silverman played host to the quirky Independent Sprit Awards last night, with "Little Miss Sunshine" dominating the ceremony. The film took home four awards, including top honors as Best Film.
Celebs like Rosario Dawson, Taylor Dayne, and a "bloodied" Neil Patrick Harris all sang ditties about each of the Best Film nominees in a brilliant attempt to break up the monotony of an awards show.
Other winners at the offbeat ceremony were Ryan Gosling for his performance in "Half Nelson," Alan Arkin for "Little Miss Sunshine" and Shareeka Epps -- who Felicity Huffman repeatedly and incorrectly called "Shakira" while reading the Best Actress nominees -- also for "Half Nelson."

Rosario & Jason's Bizarre Mating Dance
Rosario Dawson and boyfriend Jason Lewis take their hugs very seriously. Out on a public street, they first do a strange, elaborate dance - involving a kind of football shake and some thigh rubbing - before they get down to business.
And business, in this case, is one of the longest celebrity hugs ever caught by a paparazzo's lens.
It's nice to see young actors so clearly nuts about each other, but it is a little intimate for a Los Angeles sidewalk. Part of us wants to say "get a room", and part of us wants to zoom in.

TMZ's cameras were all over the place this weekend, running into a ton of celebs as they hit the streets of Hollywood.
We caught up with Miss Jessica Simpson as she exited out the back door of Hollywood hotspot Hyde. The blonde stunner created her usual chaotic scene, setting the paparazzi off into a flash bulb frenzy. Jessica, who was sitting in the driver seat, seems to have had a some car issues. Check out the serious dent on the side of her BMW and the rear view mirror, held together by tape.
Also out over the weekend funnyman Cheech Marin, Maroon 5, Oscar winner Three 6 Mafia, the talented Rosario Dawson, comedian Dane Cook, TMZ's favorite Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria (who showed up with Mario Lopez), Greasy Bear himself Brandon Davis and Jesse Metcalf, who was seen leaving dinner with a lady friend.

"Clerks" Get Back to Work
Jay and Silent Bob are back in "Clerks 2," 12 years after the original film became a cult classic almost overnight. The pot pushers are joined again by the Dante Hicks (Brian O'Halloran) and Randal Graves (Jeff Anderson), who work at a fast food joint this time around.
For Jason Mewes, who is surprisingly sexy without Jay's long blond locks, there was no hesitation to join director Kevin Smith on screen again. "Any movie that Kevin does and writes me I'll do it ... we've been friends forever," he says, adding, "That is why I come back for more ... and I got paid twenty thousand million dollars, all right, twenty billion dollars, wouldn't you come back for twenty billion dollars?"
Joining the cast for the sequel is "Sin City" hottie Rosario Dawson, who says the film definitely doesn't hold back. "There is definitely something to be offended by for everyone but there is also something for every single person to just jump out of their seat and laugh and be happy about."
The film has been getting a lot of attention this week from the highly publicized dispute between director Kevin Smith and film critic Joel Siegel, who was so offended he disruptively walked out of the press screening. "Clerks 2" opens this weekend.
