In L.A.: Quentin Tarantino sucked down a margarita, Charlize Theron thought it was hilarious she got in the wrong car, Mel B and her husband make out in the back of theirs and Natalie Imbruglia was still bombarded for autographs even though she's done nothing since 1997.

Uhura Beams into Opera
Us Weekly threw a bash at Opera last night, hosting hot young actresses like Amanda Bynes, Miley Cyrus, and Nichelle Nichols?! The original "Star Trek" Lieutenant was the talk of the party. As one TMZ insider said, "Uhura stole the show!"
Also at the event was whiney rapper Kanye West, a non-Photoshopped Kathy Griffin, vampire slayer Sarah Michelle Gellar, and leather jacket-obsessed James Blunt. Chicken dancer Bai Ling clucked around, and R&B queen Mary J. Blige looked fierce in all white.
But the evening belonged to 74-year-old Nichelle Nichols -- who boldly stole the show.

Seinfeld -- It's Hard Out Here for a Pap
TMZ caught Jerry Seinfeld outside of Il Sole last night, and while he was quiet about former co-star Michael Richards, he told our photog it was a tough time to be a paparazzo. Sarah Michelle Gellar, Kelly Carlson and Hilary Duff were spotted at a Chanel party, while Nick Cannon and Ashlee Simpson were at Opera. Also out: Danny DeVito and Adrian Grenier.
In New York, filming continued on the "Sex and the City" movie, with one of the film's stars (SPOILER ALERT after the jump)

Sarah Michelle Gellar looked like she was ready to slay Mohammed Al-Fayed after the billionaire placed a dog on her head! That's right. A live dog! What a bitch!
Gellar was in London to help launch Harrods summer sale on Monday, when Al-Fayed, who owns the world renown store, knighted her with the four-legged accoutrement. Fur-galicious!
Al-Fayed's son, Dodi, was dating Princess Diana when their car crashed in Paris in 1997, killing them both. Fayed has pursued numerous inquests into the circumstances surrounding the deaths. A star-studded charity concert honored the late Princess at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

Sarah's Sober Shoe Shopping Spree
Unlike other Hollywood starlets, Sarah Michelle Gellar doesn't like to drink ... while driving up her credit card bill!
TMZ has learned that Sarah kept things on the straight and narrow width, while shopping with a friend in New York on Tuesday. Sarah stopped by retail emporium Te Casan in Soho to get her routine shoe fix -- and to see if they had stocked up on half sizes -- she wears a 6 1/2. If the shoe fits -- wear it, girl!
After charging about $600 on two pairs of Gianluca flats, Mrs. Freddie Prinze Jr. requested a cold drink from the store's bar and specified that it definitely had to be "non-alcoholic." Hmmmm. Was the 30-year-old beauty just not in the mood for a cocktail -- or could this be a sign of something bigger to come?! Time will tell, baby!

Buffy the Shoe Shop Slayer
Sarah Michelle Gellar didn't let a torrential downpour get in the way of her shoe fetish, while on a retail rampage through New York. Carrie Bradshaw would be so proud!
TMZ has learned that Sarah and a galpal were making their shopping rounds through trendy Soho when the rains came. Run for your lives! Naturally, the ladies sought refuge in Manhattan's largest women's shoe store, Te Casan, and quickly got back to business. The "Vampire Slayer," who sources say was extremely polite, tried on shoe after size seven shoe, eventually dropping nearly $1000 on an ivory-jeweled ballet heel and a chain silver sandal by Gaetano Perrone. Ch-ch-charge!
In town for the Tribeca Film Festival premeire of her new film, "The Air I Breathe," TMZ spies say SMG left her purchases at the store, saying she'd be back for them later -- probably just after sunrise!

Buffy Loose In The Big Apple
TMZ's hit the streets of the Big Apple on Tuesday and we ran into tons of celebs.
We spotted the gorgeous Sarah Michelle Gellar as she left MTV's TRL. The stunning actress posed for our cameras while stopping to sign a few autographs on her way out.
We also caught up with acts like Ashley Judd, Nicky Hilton (twice), hip-hop mogul Damon Dash and Rosario Dawson who seemed to know one of the paparazzi quite well.

1) Brendan Has Just GOTTA KNOW: Where are Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar? After they got married they fell off the face of the earth!
Seems as though Freddie and Sarah Michelle have joined the likes of Ashton and Demi-- after marriage, they go into hiding! But don't mistake their departure from the public eye as career-idleness. The former "Buffy" star's latest movie "The Return" is set to hit theaters on November 17. In this dramatic flick, nightmares about a woman who has died 25 years ago begin to plague a young successful business woman. Hubby Prinze, Jr. will also be working on the movie "Dick and Jane vs. the World" opposite Taryn Manning. Here, Prinze plays a cynical man who falls for a woman full of energy and love for life, leading to a cultural revolution. Filming is expected to begin late summer of '06. 2) Crystal Has Just GOTTA KNOW: What's up with Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler? Do either one have any projects going on and will they return to MTV?
Unfortunately, the second season of "Meet the Barkers" was the last for both MTV and the diversely appealing married couple. During the "extended hiatus" of Blink 182, Travis has been working with the rock band +44 (in which former band mate Mark Hoppus is a member) and is helping prepare for their 4th quarter release. Along with mothering three children, Shanna Moakler stays busy in the professional world as well. She continues to serve as women's fashion designer for the clothing line Famous Stars and Straps. Shanna is also working on a project set for announcement in August, so stay tuned to TMZ for the lowdown on that. 
3) Liz Has Just GOTTA KNOW: What's up with Winona Ryder? Where is she hiding? Is that it for her? No more movies?
Although Winona Ryder has had a run of bad legal luck in the past few years, she hasn't let her misfortune set her back. Winona has been working on a couple of movies, "Sex & Death 101" and "Alpha Numeric" to name a few. "Sex & Death 101" focuses on a man whose life is turned upside down by a single email. The mysterious email is a list of 101 women with whom he's had -- and (strangely enough) will have -- sexual relations. The going gets tough when Gillian (Ryder) and this playboy cross paths as she seeks out men guilty of sexual crimes. In "Alpha Numeric" a young New York Times investigative reporter cracks a Moscow-based worldwide trafficking ring, but ends up in the middle of the mess. Expect to see both movies out next year.
