Mel B and Stephen Belafonte arrived in jolly ole England yesterday to one serious unwelcome party. 
As Mel and the gang walked out of Heathrow airport in London, a crazed man approached Stephen and started verbally berating him. The man then turned his increasing anger on a still photographer at the scene, and after getting in the photog's face the two came to blows.
After the scuffle, the man's attention was back on Belafonte -- and it was at this point he threatened Stephen's life while making gun signals with his hands. Everyone finally had enough, and the group went inside to get the cops.
Belafonte told the cops the guy was "bananas," and he eventually was arrested. Scotland Yard told us he's still in custody but it's unclear if he'll be charged with a crime.
The best part -- Mel couldn't have been more amused by the whole thing.
NOTE: In the first story, we say the man threatened to stab Stephen. In the video, you can clearly hear the guy threaten Stephen's life with a gun. Our Englishman at the scene said there were "stabbing" comments too, but honestly, we can't understand half of what the guy was squawking.
Our photog tried grillin' Scary Spice about cheating rumors -- too bad he was too tongue-tied to get the question out.

Someone in Mel's camp told us the reason she was in a wheelchair at LAX this weekend was because her "hip was out of joint or something" from the long flight. We're told she went to a chiropractor and is all better now.

Mel B is the heiress apparent to Britney Spears, already out partying like a hot mom should! Mel spiced up her life in front of Hyde last night, sharing some serious PDA with her new pseudo-Belafonte hubby in a parked car.
TMZ cameras were outside of the club as Scary Spice and her new boo dashed to their waiting vehicle, and unable to control their raging hormones, proceeded to explore the inner-workings of each other's oral cavities as cameras snapped away.
Spicey? Meh.

Melanie "Scary Spice" Brown is proclaiming to the hills -- and Hello! magazine -- that her new hubby, Stephen Belafonte, isn't an "aggressive, violent, woman batterer" and that "papers" don't directly implicate Belafonte. But TMZ has obtained court documents that suggest otherwise.
According to the court docket from L.A. Superior Court from 2003, Belafonte was charged with -- and then pleaded no contest to -- "violnce [sic] used against spouse" as well as vandalism. The record shows that he originally pleaded not guilty, but then withdrew that plea to avoid jail time. The rest of the docket lays out a string of missed court appearances, arrest warrants -- and Belafonte's attendance in domestic violence counseling.
Still, Mel B's clearly giving Belafonte a free pass. "For him to seen as a wife beater," she tells Hello!, "is devastating for me because he's not -- he never has been." On the other hand, Eddie Murphy's baby mama seems to know that her new guy isn't exactly a paragon of virtue: "He hasn't been the best of people. I know everything that he's done. He went through group therapy and counseling, but he's fully aware of what he's done."
Stephen's ex Nicole Contreras apparently agrees as well. She issued the following statement this afternoon to TMZ: "Stephen Belafonte and I had a long relationship that ended mutually. Despite reports, there was never any physical violence involved in the relationship. We share a beautiful three year old daughter together and
are amicable."

Is the ultra-bitter paternity war between Scary Spice and Eddie Murphy all over -- a house?
On last night's "Larry King Live," the suspendered one revealed that Eddie's people are claiming Scary demanded a $9 million mega mansion from the funnyman -- a claim that Scary never outright denied.
After she was finished bobbing and weaving, Scary also revealed that she and Eddie tattooed their names on each other -- and claimed that the ink proves that they were, "very much in love and wanted to have a family together" adding, "You don't tattoo somebody's name on your body if it's brief and unimportant, let's put it that way." Romance fades, tats are forever!

Scary Spice (aka Mel B) celebrated her baby daddy Eddie Murphy's public acknowledgment of their daughter, Angel, by slapping on a new weave and scooting on down to Miami for a champagne party with her new dude, Stephen Belafonte. Day-Oh!
After a very difficult previous week, in which she endured a wag-a-licious meal at the Ivy in L.A. with fellow Eddie-exer Nicole Murphy, Mel cracked open a bottle of expensive bubbly on the beach, showing a very remarkable pair of, um, sunglasses by her side.

Hot on the heels of a meeting between burned Eddie Murphy mamas Scary Spice and Nicole Murphy, funny man Eddie Murphy released a statement about his most recent spice-y lover. Eddie, according to People, acknowledges paternity of the child Angel, and has paid child support to Ms. Brown as well as covering the expenses of her pregnancy."
Murphy also denied Scary Spice's claim that daughter Angel Iris' birth was planned, saying that he and Brown only dated briefly and never planned a damned thing.
Brown and her lawyer, omnipresent Gloria Allred, claim that Murphy hasn't paid a cent in child support and have filed a paternity suit against the actor, who has five other children with ex-wife Nicole Murphy.
"Departed" villain Jack Nicholson is denying new claims that he is the father of a physically and mentally handicapped son that he's kept a secret. A new unauthorized biography called "Five Easy Decades" by Dennis McDougal claims that the "cuckoo" star kept the kid a secret, but wacky Jack and his lawyer deny the rumors. Nicholson's lawyer told Page Six, "The allegations of the handicapped son are false and inaccurate," and also clarified that Nicholson does have four illegitimate children with several different women. Scary Spice is going after Eddie Murphy in court, claiming he isn't owning up to his responsibility as a dad.
Melanie Brown will file a paternity suit against Murphy, according to ubiquitous lawyer Gloria Allred.
Allred will hold a news conference -- imagine that! -- claiming Murphy's conduct since learning Brown was pregnant was "shocking and appalling."
UPDATE: Gloria Allred said in a press conference today that a DNA test proves Eddie Murphy is the father of Scary's 4-month-old baby girl, "but paternity has not been legally acknowledged." Allred says a paternity suit has been filed under seal in Los Angeles. She also says the baby was planned.

TMZ cameras caught the buxom baby mama lunching with the pit bull attorney at Beverly Hills hotspot Mr. Chow on Friday. It seems Scary's retained Allred to represent her spiciness in her upcoming paternity suit against Murphy. Whoa mama!
Allred's had her hands in a slew of high profile cases in the last few years, including the Scott Peterson murder trial, a discrimination case against Michael Richards and this Paris Hilton-related prison discrimination case.

During her paternity conflagration, the delightful Mel B. aka Scary Spice has been a charmingly elegant unwed mother. 
Scary opened up to OK! Magazine about the recent DNA test on her daughter Angel, saying, "There was never a doubt in my mind that Eddie (Murphy) was the father." A rep for Miss Brown confirmed on Friday that her client had received test results proving that Eddie is the father of Angel Iris Murphy Brown. Spice up your life!
Mel B. seems glad to have the paternity mess cleared up, "Angel is a beautiful little girl, and I feel blessed to have two happy, healthy children." Mel's daughter, Phoenix Chi, is from her previous marriage to Dutch dancer Jimmy Gulzar. Viva forever!

Scary Spice has "no doubt" that her newborn dreamgirl, Angel Iris, is Eddie Murphy's baby!
Melanie B. tells OK! magazine that she has no problem with the "Daddy Day Care" star taking a DNA test -- and wants him to "step up to the plate and be responsible." Murphy has publicly questioned the paternity of the golden child.
The former Spice Girl says she and Eddie were "madly in love" and that she was blindsided by their breakup -- which Melanie found out from a friend! As far as feeling embarrassed for being dumped so publicly, Melanie says, "I don't feel humiliated, I think the only person who has humiliated themselves is Eddie." Now why did she have to go and bring up "Norbit?!"
If her claims are true, Eddie's behavior towards Melanie seems especially troubling, considering what a Good Samaritan the Oscar-nominated star usually is. In 1997, Murphy famously helped his fellow man by giving a ride to a transsexual prostitute.
