Snoop Dogg is the boss you dream of -- if you're a pot smoking employee who is looking for someone to take the rap.
A few hours ago, cops in Norfolk, Virginia got a tip that a suspicious package had just arrived in the mail from Canada to the Norfolk Plaza Hotel, where Snoop and crew were staying.
Our Norfolk law enforcement sources tell us cops monitored the package that was addressed to a member of Snoop's entourage ... then swooped in and arrested the dude for misdemeanor marijuana possession.
That's when Mr. Dogg showed up in the lobby and told cops the weed was for him, and then flashed his medical marijuana card.
So here's where it stands. The dude whose name was on the package was arrested. Cops are still investigating. Will Snoop's marijuana card become a get-out-of-jail free card?

If this frightening incident report on the California Highway Patrol's website is correct -- which we hope it's not -- Snoop Doggy Dogg "has the dead body of his wife in his basement." Murder was the case!
At 3:19 yesterday afternoon -- while Snoop was getting high live on the internet -- an anonymous tipper called the CHP to alert them of the alleged heinous situation... but apparently it was so ridiculous that no one at the CHP bothered to forward it to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.
So this is either really funny ... or really, really, really messed up.

The Doggfather showed New York Yankee Johnny Damon that he's more than a lyrical master. Snoop can throwdown on Madden NFL for the Xbox 360.
At a recent Professional Baseball Gaming League charity event, stick-thin Snoop (who is Commissioner of the Hip Hop Gaming League), planted his virtual shoulder pads right into Damon's pixelated chin strap. While the World Series hero took his beating like a good sport, Snoop didn't have any problem running his mouth every time he reached cyber paydirt.
If all gamers were this entertaining, Professional Gaming would have no problem getting an audience.
