Catching a cab in New York is always tough -- even for a hot young thing like Sophia Bush.
TMZ watched in shock as the "One Tree Hill" star tried in vain to get a ride yesterday -- even getting into one taxi that wouldn't take her where she wanted to go! Maybe after her role in "The Hitcher," drivers won't get into the thick of it with Bush.

They're allegedly broken up (who knew they were even dating?!) but Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers are still staying at the same hotel. Probably not any underage hanky-panky here though -- they're also on tour together.

"King" magazine cover girl Kim Kardasshian -- whose top is starting to match her bottom -- chatted with a TMZ camera about joining the Pussycat Dolls for their upcoming Vegas show.
Also at Area were "That '70s Show" actress Laura Prepon and celebuspawn Brody Jenner, who drove off wearing a Jack Daniels t-shirt. Warning sign?
L.A. restaurant Koi exgorged faux doctor Zach Braff and plumping champ Mike Tyson. Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge held a mini photo shoot following the "Teens Choice Awards" after party at Area -- while a trim Jessica Simpson and horse-toothed Haylie Duff partied at Les Deux.
Brooke Shields hosted a benefit for the Art of Elysium at the French Connection Beach House in Malibu and was spotted playing in the ocean with some happy tots. Also in Malibu: ATL rapper/actor Ludacris.
"Teen Choice" award winner Sophia Bush was spotted leaving Jerry's Famous Deli and says she "has never met" Kevin Federline. Good for her.

Paris was rumored to be the reason for Sophia's split from Chad Michael Murray -- so don't expect Miss Bush to be sporting a "Free Paris" shirt.
TMZ spotted the raspy voiced "One Tree Hill" starlet last night outside the Avalon, where Bush could do nothing but laugh when asked if she thinks Ms. Hilton deserves to go to jail. One of her girlfriends even shouted "She does!" as the rest of the group just kept giggling.
Gossip spread that Bush's ex-husband, co-star Chad Michael Murray, hooked up with Hilton during the filming of "House of Wax," something Hilton's ex-boyfriend Nick Carter confirmed on KIIS-FM. Bush, attempting to be the better person in the situation, tried to shut her buddies up last night, telling them, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." Or call TMZ.

Sophia Bush is so cozy with her new beau ... she's already picking her nose in front of him.
The gorgeous star of "One Tree Hill" was spotted with boyfriend Jon Foster having lunch at Doughboys in Los Angeles. Bush, who co-starred with Foster in the 2006 horror flick "Stay Alive," was also seen kissing his hand and laughing throughout their meal.
Seems like she's finally found a replacement for ex-hubby Chad Michael Murray, who allegedly cheated on Sophia with Paris Hilton.

Playing a bisexual woman on "Nip/Tuck" and kissing Brittany Snow in "John Tucker Must Die" has earned Sophia Bush a bit of a lesbian following -- and a few offers.
Bush tells The Sun that female fans come up to her asking if she'll switch teams -- even at her local Starbucks.
"I've started getting interesting propositions from some female fans," she says. "(I get) some letters. The barista at a Starbucks I frequent has started asking me if I would not mind playing for the other team. I had to kindly say no, but she makes really great coffee so I still go in every day. I'm not thinking about it, but I appreciate it greatly."

4) Gossip in Maryland Has Just GOTTA KNOW: What happened to Ashanti? A few years ago she was the biggest thing and now I haven't heard anything from her. And is she still with Nelly?
Although her relationship with Nelly cannot be confirmed, the talk around town is that they are an item. And they've been spotted in each other's company as well -- the most recent at The Black and White Ball in St. Louis, hosted by Nelly himself. July 28 marks the release date for her latest movie "John Tucker Must Die" where she stars alongside Sophia Bush as one of the many girlfriends of playboy John Tucker (Jesse Metcalfe). 5) Jeff Has Just GOTTA KNOW: Who is Jake Gyllenhaal dating?
In the past few months, it seems as though Jake Gyllenhaal has picked right up from where he left off after splitting with on-again-off-again girlfriend Kirsten Dunst. (Could this time be for good?) So much so that two women have been spotted on his arm in the last couple of months. Olympic snowboarder Gretchen Bleiler and sporty Jake were seen keeping each other company and it had been rumored that Gretchen would be moving to LA to be closer to the stud. But most recently, he's been taking up with the likes of Natalie Portman -- his love interest before Dunst. In fact, the two of them were spotted side by side at Matthew McConaughey's 4th of July weekend BBQ bash, rarely leaving each other. So could Jake be trading in his male bonding time with McConaughey for some quality time with Portman? We'll just have to let time tell! 
6) Jessica Has Just GOTTA KNOW: Where is Aaron Carter?
A spat with brother Nick Carter is among the list of the latest with Aaron Carter. The two exchanged blows last Monday right before announcing their new reality TV show "House of Carters." But fear not, the fight was nothing dramatic enough to end the brotherly bond. As Nick explained to PEOPLE, "Eh, we're brothers, it happened," adding that it was all "over a little misinterpretation." The argument occurred at the annual Television Critics Association convention and was broken up by a "House of Carters" cameraman. Now although we don't have any still shots of the fight, you can expect to see the whole thing, which was caught on tape, on the Carter brothers' show. It debuts in October on E!. 4) Guenevirre Has Just GOTTA KNOW: Why did Bethany Joy's last name change from "Lenz" to "Galeotti"?
"One Tree Hill" sweetheart Bethany Joy Lenz, who plays the lovable Haley James Scott on the WB's hit show, has recently been spotted sporting another surname: Galeotti. Back on January 1, 2006 she and musician boyfriend Michael Galeotti tied the knot and made it official. 5) Mudge Has Just GOTTA KNOW: What's going on with love birds Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams from "The Notebook"? They had such a great on-screen chemistry but what's it like off screen? I never see any pictures of them or status of their relationship. Are they really dating?
Ryan and Rachel have continued their on-screen romance off the screen. Nothing has suggested any type of breakup. (Take a look at some pics of the two together!) However, they do spend time apart from one another to tend, once again, to their professional lives. At the end of July, Rachel will be working on the drama "Marriage." Meant to take place in the 1940's, a husband would rather plan out his wife's death than put her through the humiliation of a divorce. Ryan, on the other hand, is working on a number of projects - "Fracture" being one of them. In this flick, Ryan is the assistant DA who tries to bring justice to a man who attempted to murder his wife. Production for this movie has wrapped but the release date has not yet been set. 6) Chaniel Has Just GOTTA KNOW: Why did 98° break up in the first place?
Contrary to what may seem like a break up, the pop band 98° has not separated. They are currently taking a break from their union as one, allowing for some bandmates to pursue solo careers and personal lives. Nick Lachey's second album "What's Left of Me" has taken off and is doing well (it peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200), while brother Drew Lachey is focused more on life at home. Since winning ABC's "Dancing With The Stars," Lachey and wife Lea Dellecave gave birth to their first child, a girl. Although Jeff Timmons has had a run-in with the law, he did put out an album in 2004 entitled "Whisper That Way." Last but certainly not least, Justin Jeffre went political and ran for mayor of Cincinnati, but was not elected. Don't count the boys out yet - they'll be back in the limelight in no time.
