"Sordid Lives" Sells Out

Times are tough for the cast and crew on Logo's series "Sordid Lives". The first season is currently airing -- but our sources reveal that investors haven't stepped forward to support a second season. The show is so desperate they've gone to pimping themselves out ... On eBay!

You now can bid on one of the show's stars, Jason Dottley's, underwear -- stains and all. If that's not your cup of tea, maybe the smell of one of Rue McClanahan outfits will quench your thirst. You also could buy your way into the season finale party.

Assuming they can afford to have one.

Britney Wanted for "Sordid Lives"

Award-winning writer/director Del Shores wants Britney so badly for his new series, "Sordid Lives," he went looking for her himself!

Unable to reach Britney through her "people," Del and actor Jason Dottley (who'll play Ty Williamson) showed up at Millennium Dance Studios in North Hollywood yesterday, where Britney was supposed to be auditioning dancers for her next tour. Del says he's got a great part for Britney in the show, and since they're shooting in her native Louisiana, she'd be perfect!

Delta Burke Too Gay For Nashville

Delta Burke, Leslie JordanDelta Burke and Leslie Jordan were "uninvited" from a Nashville TV talk show, when show's producer thought the plays they were promoting might offend the show's "very conservative viewership."

Burke and Jordan were booked to appear November 10 on "Talk of the Town," a daily talk show on the CBS affiliate in Nashville. They were uninvited in an email that said: "Sorry, but after closely reviewing the subject matter of the two plays written and directed by Del Shores I have decided that it would not be in the best interest of Talk of the Town to [have] an actor come on the show to discuss the plays. We are dealing with a very conservative viewership who I feel would be offended by the show's titles and their topics."

Writer/Producer/Director Del Shores says, "Somehow I think that the people of Nashville are a little more diverse and open-minded than the producers of 'Talk of the Town' are giving them credit for -- at least that's been my experience in one of my favorite cities."
