The WWE is officially weighing in on the Chris Jericho brawl in Victoria, BC yesterday, by releasing the following statement to TMZ:
"After leaving a live event in Victoria, British Columbia on Saturday evening, Chris Jericho's car was attacked by a mob when he was stopped at a stop sign. Unable to proceed, Chris Jericho exited his car to ask the crowd to clear a path so he could continue through the intersection. A man and a woman physically and verbally assaulted Mr. Jericho. Arena and WWE security arrived to establish enough order to allow Mr. Jericho to re-enter his vehicle and depart. The local police arrived minutes later. Mr. Jericho was unharmed in the incident. The WWE is working with local authorities who are investigating the incident to identify the man and woman who fled the scene."

It wasn't scripted -- WWE superstar Chris Jericho was involved in a crazy, expletive-filled mini-brawl with fans yesterday ... and one of the people involved was a woman.
It all went down after a WWE event at the Save-On Foods Memorial Centre in Victoria, BC -- an angry crowd began heckling Chris Jericho as he was driving out of the parking lot. When Jericho stared down a female fan, that's when things got violent...
In the video, it appears she spit on the wrestler -- Jericho flipped out and the woman was knocked to the ground. At that point, one of the dudes in the crowd rushes in to attack Chris.
Jericho managed to shove that guy away -- and others who got close. During the melee, Chris can be heard screaming at security to "do your f***ing job." Finally, security tackled one of the men to the ground and Chris was able to get in his ride and take off.
Cops in Victoria -- who are currently investigating the incident -- called it a "minor event."
UPDATE: Two people who were allegedly involved in the incident were arrested and later released without being charged, according to the Times Colonist.

Dustin Diamond is the latest in a series of stars whose sexual escapades have found their way to your local adult video store. It's part entertaining, part creepy. We're just not sure which part is which. 
Psuedo-punker Avril Lavigne has been getting all llama on the photogs outside of Hollywood hotspot Hyde lately. After celebrating her 22nd birthday, the Canuck decided to let loose with a loogie, hitting a photographer in the face. Afterwards Avril let out her new battle cry with the aprés peau "Bitch!"
Lindsay needs to watch where she's going. The party girl walked right into a parking meter with her cast this week while trying to dodge paparazzi. Maybe she should get a hat with eye holes.

Avril Lavigne took a break from spitting at photographers last night, but worry not, her husband Deryck Whibley took over -- this time with possible consequences.
After a night of partying at the grand opening of Area nightclub in Hollywood, Whibley quickly hocked a loogie at one of the cameramen, hitting him in the glasses.
The saliva soaked photog quickly took action though, looking for a cop to report the incident to. However, his effort proved to be futile, as the only policeman nearby simply told him to call the LAPD.
This event follows a two-night tirade from Avril, where she launched an oral offensive on two separate photogs, including one of our own. Spitting on someone is illegal in the US, something the Canadian-born duo should learn, and fast!
