The Wynn Las Vegas wants the money Joe Francis owes them -- and they're crossing state lines to get it.
Wynn Las Vegas has been given the okay by a California court to go after Francis' assets here in California -- including his posh Bel Air mansion.
Francis recently lost a judgment in Nevada in the amount of $2,000,000 because he didn't pay back a gambling marker from 2 1/2 years ago. That amount has ballooned to nearly $3 mil with interest.
Since Wynn wanted to go after Francis' vast California holdings to get their money, they had to ask the California court to honor the Nevada ruling -- which they've agreed to.
Calls to Joe were not returned.

Joe Francis went from the big house to a really big Bel Air house that he could now lose because of a gambling debt.
TMZ has obtained legal documents, asking the California courts to honor a judgment Las Vegas mogul Steve Wynn obtained against Francis a few months back in a Nevada court.
Francis stiffed Wynn to the tune of $2 million by refusing to pay back a gambling marker. That judgment has swelled to $2,942,272.50 -- that accounts for 18% interest on the debt -- which Joe incurred 2 1/2 years ago.
Wynn's lawyers want California to honor the judgment, so they can go after Francis' California assets, which include a Bel Air mansion.
As for Joe's reaction ... He tells us "I was told this matter had been settled by my attorney and I'm currently looking into it."

Steve Wynn was in hot water this past weekend -- for not having hot water.

This letter went out Saturday to all the people staying at his super swanky, 2000-room, $2.3 billion Encore hotel in Las Vegas, apologizing for the "failure of our primary source of Hot Water" and offering the "Spa Facilities" as a backup.
Wynn gave his hot-headed guests a $50 credit for the "inconvenience." The problem has since been fixed.

Danny Gans died early this morning, after a family member called 911 to say Danny was having trouble breathing. By the time paramedics arrived, he was dead.
A ticket rep at Steve Wynn's Encore hotel tells us they just got the call and the entire staff is "shocked and upset."
Gans is a legend in Las Vegas -- the self described "musical impressionist" signed a $150 million contract in 2000.
We're told Gans died at 3:00 AM at his home in Vegas. There are reports his wife discovered his body and called for help.
Gans was named "Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year" a record 11 times in a row. He did not perform last night.
Besides being a gifted entertainer, Gans was a pretty good athlete -- in fact, he was drafted by the KC Royals out of high school and played minor league ball.
UPDATE: TMZ has learned a 911 call was made by a family member at 3:44 AM for a 52-year-old man who was "having trouble breathing." By the time medics arrived, Gans had already passed away.
UPDATE: TMZ received the following statement from The Mirage, where Gans performed for years: "All of us in The Mirage family are deeply saddened to learn of Danny's passing. We all knew of his devotion to his family and our hearts and prayers are with his wife and children."
UPDATE: Sources tell TMZ an autopsy will be performed by tomorrow. Results will be given when toxicology reports come back.
Story developing ...

"Elaine and I and all of us in the company are devastated at the loss of our brilliant, talented and loving friend.... one of the most unique human beings and entertainers in the world has been taken from us in an unexpected moment. A profoundly tragic event that leaves us all sad and speechless. The loss of Danny, to his wife Julie, his children Amy, Andrew and Emily, is at this moment impossible to comprehend. We will all try to go on with our lives without our dear friend. At this moment it seems almost impossible."

TMZ has learned Steve Wynn's marriage is over for a second time -- a divorce petition was filed in Clark County Court Las Vegas.
Wynn married Elaine in 1963. They divorced in 1986 and married again in 1991. They have two kids.
Wynn's fortune was estimated at around $3.9 billion, but that was before the economy tanked.
The 67-year-old Wynn and his wife were kidnapping victims -- one of their daughters was taken for ransom in 1993. She was returned after Wynn paid $1.45 million to the kidnappers. The culprits were later caught when they tried to buy a Ferrari with the loot.
