Tom Cruise jumped off a six-story building yesterday -- face first -- and lived. 
Cruise launched himself off the building for an upcoming movie he's shooting in Austria -- in which he's doing just about all of his own stunts.
During the shoot, Tom is literally dangling on the side of the building, connected only by a few cables.
Then again, he's not your average SP.

With her birth father right on her tail, adorable Suri Cruise attempted to make her escape in Beverly Hills on Monday.
But with her birth mother Katie Homes nowhere in sight, and Nicole Kidman's former son Connor on hand as backup for Suri's dad, the three-year-old's plan was thwarted.
Better luck next time, girl.

Unlike most other Earth children, Suri Cruise's third birthday party is a media event -- but Tom and Katie had to call the cops when the paparazzi crashed the shindig ... in a helicopter.
Tom's camp called Beverly Hills police around 3:00 PM yesterday to complain about the helicopter overhead. We're told the LAPD airship did a flyby, but the helicopter was gone by the time they arrived.
Cake, party games, and birthday audits went on as planned.

Tom Cruise is ticked off because a t-shirt company is allegedly planning to use his image on a shmatah that will say "sex addict" on the front and "everything turns me on" on the back.
We've obtained a letter sent by Aaron Moss, Cruise's lawyer, to Addictiontee.com, threatening to sue the pants off the t-shirt company if it goes forward with the product, calling it false advertising and consumer fraud.
The letter also says, "...we believe that such photograph is a fake that has been 'Photoshopped' or otherwise manipulated to make it look like he's wearing your t-shirt."
A spokesman for the t-shirt company says the shirt is in production. And the company is acting none too scared, adding, "We're going into production of a t-shirt inspired by Cruise's attorney with the words 'legal addict' on the front and 'I sue everybody' on the back."

Tom Cruise and Keith Urban, the former and current husbands of Nicole Kidman, came face-to-face during the driver's meeting today at the Daytona 500, according to TMZ spies.
Cruise, who's at the NASCAR event to drive the race's pace car, and Urban, who's playing a concert at the race, squared off -- you would think to talk about the whole wife swap thing.
But our spies say the country singer and Scientolostar shook hands and had a few laughs -- probably about sharing a bed with Nicole and treating the inevitable frostbite that comes after such a risky move.
And ain't this sweet -- Connor went up to chew the fat with Keith.

A visibly shaken Tom Cruise finally opened up about the death of his good friend's son -- describing Jett Travolta's death as "horrific" and addressing Scientology's role in the tragedy.
Struggling to find the right words, Cruise addressed the emotional topic during a taping for tomorrow's episode of "The View," where he claimed his religion does not prohibit people from seeing a doctor and getting proper medication.
