Newport Beach PD tells TMZ that former actress and Whitesnake music video vixen Tawny Kitaen was arrested in Newport Beach, Calif. today for suspicion of driving under the influence.
Kitaen was arrested at about 3:00 PM Saturday when officers suspected she had been driving her Range Rover under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Kitaen was released after posting $2,500 bail.

Former actress and Whitesnake music video vixen Tawny Kitaen is claiming that her former boyfriend stole millions right from under her nose ... and the proof is in the ink -- literally.
According to a lawsuit filed today in L.A. County Superior Court and obtained by TMZ, Kitaen hired a forensic handwriting expert to analyze her financial and real estate records when she became suspicious of her ex Philip Cyburt -- and Tawny claims the analysis proved what she had been thinking all along; "a betrayal of the most personal in nature."
In the suit, Kitaen claims "she never imagined this seemingly honest and caring man would slither into her life only to rob her of over three million dollars during the course of their four-year relationship."
Tawny also claims that Cyburt, a loaded real estate executive, sold properties she owned in West Hollywood, Newport Beach and Los Angeles and routed the profits into his personal accounts. Kitaen also claims that he then repurchased the real estate at a higher price with her cash.
In an exclusive statement to TMZ, Cyburt said "The lawsuit took me by complete surprise and I have no further comment."

TMZ has learned actress Tawny Kitaen struck a deal today in her cocaine possession case.
Prosecutors in Orange County, Calif. have agreed to drop felony drug charges against Kitaen, provided she completes a drug rehab program.
The 45-year-old actress, best known for starring in the 80's hit film "Bachelor Party" and Whitesnake videos, was charged with felony drug possession after Orange County Sheriff's Deputies allegedly found 15 grams of cocaine in her house last May, after responding to an anonymous call asking cops to check on her children.
We're told that after the incident, Kitaen immediately entered rehab, which she will complete in June. At that time, all charges will be formally dropped.
Kitaen is represented by high-powered celebrity attorney Blair Berk, who also handled cases for Mel Gibson, Halle Berry and Reese Witherspoon.
