WARNING: NOT SAFE FOR DINNER
Last night, for one member of the New York Police Department, doody called.
The police came to pinch off Manhattan hotspot The Plumm for overcrowding last night, but the real you-know-what hit the fan when a NYPD horse decided to mess right there on the sidewalk in front of the club. Various pedestrians were able to manure-vre around the pile, but one pretty filly literally stepped in it with her fancy stilettos. Officers actually asked our cameraman to view the moment again and again.
Incidentally, Chris Noth (aka Mr. Big, and one of the co-owners of The Plumm) came out to see if he could help get the club reopened, but he just couldn't do s**t.

Grandmaster Flash nearly lost his ride over the weekend while spinning at a celeb-packed birthday party in NYC.
TMZ has learned that the famous DJ had to halt his spinning in mid-session to run outside because his car was being towed! Sources inside the club tell us GMF was spinning at the birthday party of Noel Ashman, owner of The Plumm, when one of his entourage stormed in with a flash for the Flash -- his ride was going bye bye!
Flash was able to talk his way out of the tow! And after the fire was put out, he continued on the ones and twos -- letting the crowd know, "All is cool."

TMZ has learned that 17-year-old "Heroes" star Hayden Panettiere hit the club scene in NYC over the weekend, but vodka, stripper poles and available men were not on the menu. Unlike some Hollywood starlets we know...
Sources inside the The Plumm nightclub tell TMZ that owner Noel Ashman sent a complimentary bottle of vodka over to Hayden's table, which she politely refused -- giving it to her parents and manager, while the 17-year-old actress enjoyed lollipops and animal crackers instead. For real! Hayden also turned down an opportunity to try out the club's stripper pole, choosing to grind down a few sandwiches instead.
An underage star staying out of trouble? Weird.

MSNBC star Rita Cosby hit the club scene in NYC -- and got her Y-M-C-A on.
The talk host joined original "Village People" star Randy Jones for a impromptu duet at NYC hotspot The Plumm, celebrating her recent departure from the cable network. The party was thrown by TimesSquareGossip's James Edstrom.
Sources inside tell TMZ that Cosby also sang a hilarious rendition of the theme song to the "Mary Tyler Moore Show." Sean William Scott from "American Pie" was seen applauding Rita's singing style.
Rita joins an elite crowd of celebs winging it at The Plumm, including Stevie Wonder, Guns n' Roses, Norah Jones, and Lindsay Lohan.

TMZ has obtained the exclusive VIP keychain membership list at hot NYC nightclub The Plumm, and it's an odd mix of who's who in the Big Apple. A keychain gets you carte blanche access; if you've got one, you and three pals can enter the ultra-exclusive VIP area.
The A-list members include Lindsay Lohan, Bill Maher, Elizabeth Berkley, Ivana Trump (!), Tyra Banks, David Schwimmer and Nora Jones. Plumm doesn't discriminate because of age; Harrison Ford and Janice Dickinson also have chains. And we're not yankin' yours.
Owner Noel Ashman told TMZ, "It's not that simple, you must be approved by one of the co-owners," which include Damon Dash and Joey McIntyre. "The chain is a VIP membership and it's numbered and matched with the a persons ID at the door. Ashman added, "I was once offered $25,000 for one." That's a lotta lettuce for The Plumm, but they're not for sale.
Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo had their first public spat at The Plumm. We're in!
