It sure sounded like something broke when Steve O and Tom Green started jumping around on their rap producer's $500,000 Lamborghini after a long night of clubbing in Hollywood ...
... but if you can afford that car, you sure as hell better be able to afford the repairs.

The guy who dropped a huge hit with the "The Bum Bum Song" nine years ago has now recruited a posse, some thuggish shades, and a couple of skeezers for his new career -- as an aspiring rapper. And since MTV doesn't do anything related to music anymore, Tom dropped a verse on the street last night ... and it was shockingly impressive.

TMZ cameras caught up with funnyman Tom Green last night, and he was rather amazed -- and distracted -- at how bright our camera lights were ...
... while we were amazed at how funny he was.
UPDATE: We're told the girl he's with is Anna Chudoba from "Average Joe 4." Who knew?!

It's Not Easy Being (Tom) Green
If you were out at Hollywood hotspot Republic over the weekend, you might have seen Tom Green getting dissed at the front door -- at least one of our staffers did.
Green's agent called TMZ and told us what we didn't see -- Tom partying it up inside Republic with his agent for an hour and a half before walking outside. As Tom left, he saw some friends in the front of the line who were getting rejected. The agent says Tom went to the front and tried unsuccessfully to get them in, and then he left.
By the way, the agent added Greene has two TV offers.

Has Britney's Make-Out Partner Moved On?
Britney Spears' first post-Feder fling is on the prowl again.
Arizona clubgoers recently saw Spears getting hot and heavy with football stud Matt Leinart. Now, TMZ cameras have spotted record producer "J.R." Rotem, linked with Britney a few weeks ago, leaving a party at Paris Hilton's Hollywood Hills home with sultry R & B singer Mýa this weekend. Rotem made sure to open the car door for her. Such a gentleman!
Also at Paris' place: Cuba Gooding, Jr., sister Nicky Hilton, buddy Brandon "Firecough" Davis, Chris Judd and Kim Kardashian, who just loves the beaches in Australia this time of year.
Teddy's at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel saw the likes of Travis Barker, Tom Green and Taryn Manning, while Rachel Hunter, Carlos Mencia and Dane Cook had lots of laughs for TMZ cameras outside of Hyde.

Britney Parties With Justin
TMZ's crew and veteran cameraman Josh Levine were all over Hollywood last night, doing what they do best; catching all the action!
We started the night at Hollywood hotspot Area, where the girls were at it again. New BFFs Britney, Paris and Lindsay all showed up at the swanky L.A. club, setting the paparazzi into a frenzy with each arrival. Britney, who showed up with a few of her backup dancers, caught up with her past inside the club: our cameras spotted ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake entering just minutes before Britney!
Also soaking up the moonlight; "birthday boy" Tom Green, "The Hills" star LC (Lauren Conrad), comedian Jamie Kennedy, rocker Dave Navarro, Greasy Bear Brandon Davis, CaCee Cobb, former Laker Rick Fox, platinum-selling artist T.I., and Bruce Willis -- who was spotted having dinner with friends at Koi.

Tom Green Breaks a Leg
Unfortunately, we don't mean that figuratively.
Comedian Tom Green shattered his tibia while skateboarding and will have surgery on Thursday -- and will broadcast footage of the surgery on his Internet talk show, "Tom Green Live." Viewers can check out the footage of the surgery after it happens, as well as footage of the accident (available now), at TomGreen.com.
"I am having a bad year for injuries. First, the broken ribs in Costa Rica after getting hit by a wave, now this. To make matters worse, I need surgery," Green says. "So on Thursday I will be bringing my video camera, and will be getting put under general anesthetic and operated on. They will be putting screws and a metal plate into the bone in my leg."
This isn't the first time Green has brought cameras into the O.R. In March 2000, he was diagnosed with testicular cancer and documented the surgery showing doctors removing his right testicle.
