During Game 5 of the Playoffs last week, Tyrese Gibson decided to change the words of the National Anthem -- and now he realizes what a colossal mistake that really was.

Gibson was booed hardcore after he replaced the line "our flag was still there" with "our Lakers were still there," and when we asked about his version last night, dude turned deathly serious and extremely apologetic.

Tyrese just learned a valuable lesson -- just because you pay an insane amount of money for a car, doesn't mean you can get away with not having a license plate on it.
Cops tell us Tyrese was pulled over while driving his Maserati through Hollywood Monday night for failing to have license plates on his car.
We're told the car is registered, but for some reason Tyrese either hasn't got the tag in the mail or just hasn't put it on the car yet.

Shawn Johnson, Derek Fisher, Tyler Perry -- stalkers are all the rage these days, and Tyrese Gibson is now a card carrying member of the club.

A woman named "Patricia" has allegedly been overzealously Tweeting the soon-to-be-divorced "Transformers" star, saying "Now that your wife is finally out of the picture Daddy, it's my turn" -- and, according to him, it's now become a legal matter.
We asked Tyrese about the situation last night, and he didn't hold back -- "She's every bit of crazy and Looney Tunes."

Sporting his best "Hey mom, look what I found!" face, Tyrese Gibson checked his pipes at LAX yesterday like he was a professional plumber.

Nice grab.

TMZ has obtained the prenup between Tyrese Gibson and his soon-to-be ex Norma Gibson -- and from the looks of it, she won't be getting much when it's all said and done.

According to the docs, Norma doesn't get a piece of any of Tyrese's possessions -- not his production company, not his cars, not his house ... nothing.
The prenup does state that Norma would get a lump sum of $50,000 for every year they were married -- maxed out at 10 years. The couple was only married 10 months.
How's this for brutal? The prenup says that if either side files for separation or divorce, Norma has to move out of the house within 60 days -- or else Tyrese can get a court order to make her move out.

Tyrese Gibson made just shy of a million bucks last year. His soon-to-be-ex-wife? Not so much.
According to docs just released in their ongoing divorce, Tyrese Gibson pulled in an estimated $77,946 per month in 2008 ($935,352 annually -- we used a calculator too). Norma Gibson made an estimated zilch.
Tyrese and Norma are still battling over support. He currently pays $6,230 a month.
The docs also reveal Tyrese owns two cars (a Bentley and a Land Rover), a house in Temecula, Calif., and two small production companies.
Mrs. Gibson's assets are listed simply as "paintings" and "jewelry."

Tyrese Gibson's 10-month marriage is starting to cost him dearly.
A judge today ordered Gibson to fork over $65,000 to his estranged wife Norma. In addition, he'll shell out $6,230/month in support, pay her rent ($2,730) and make her car payments ($800). But don't worry -- the judge ruled Tyrese can write off the rent and car payments!
It's all temporary -- she's contesting the prenup.

Tyrese and Brandy tried to avoid pappers like the plague this weekend -- but instead, they came face-to-face with a TMZ camera and the TMZ boss ... who just happened to be there.

Here's how it all went down: Our cameras found Tyrese on a mall trip with Brandy in Century City -- but it was clear T didn't want to be seen. In fact, it seemed like Tyrese sent B to distract the pappers, so he could sneak down the back staircase.
But when Ty went to the valet, Harvey just happened to be there, waiting for his car ... and when the photog kept firing questions at Tyrese, the actor confronted Harv while the cameras rolled. Guess what happens next...
P.S. -- Tyrese and Brandy left together.

Tyrese tried to do a nice thing on last night's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," but even that didn't turn out right.
Usually he's kind of a douchebag, so imagine our surprise when -- live on air -- Tyrese promised to take the whole audience to a free screening of his new movie, "Death Race." Unfortunately, we're told some of the more excited fans showed up to the theater too quickly for the message to be relayed -- so they were denied.
Fans who showed closer to showtime were let in to a free screening with Tyrese himself. There was a small price to pay though -- they had to sit through the movie.

Tyrese has issued a statement to TMZ about the alleged violent incident that took place between him and his live-in girlfriend at his Los Angeles home in earlier this month.
"I am a very private person but as untrue information is still circulating, I feel I owe it to my fans and supporters to finally address the rumors and put them to rest once and for all. Please be assured that accusations of an alleged physical altercation between my girlfriend and me are absolutely false. No charges were filed. I am grateful for the prayers and support I have received over the last several weeks from my fans and supporters and I want to thank them. God Bless."
Earlier this month, paramedics responded to Tyrese's home in response to an alleged altercation. No charges were filed.

Described by the film's director as "the urban Bonnie and Clyde," audiences for "Waist Deep" can expect a lot of action and a even more sex appeal.
The film, which stars model-turned-actor Tyrese Gibson and hottie Meagan Good, tells the story of a con who is forced back into a life of crime to rescue his son, kidnapped in a carjacking.
Tyrese may have top billing for the movie but he's still humble, telling reporters at the premiere, "You've got to show up, do your job, be professional and just make sure that regardless of where you are on the call sheet that everyone feels equally as important with being a part of something."
Someone who was definitely glad to be a part of the film was rapper The Game, who makes his big-screen debut as the crime boss who kidnaps Gibson's son. "It feels really good to even have the opportunity to be on a red carpet and be here for my first feature film. It was a wonderful opportunity granted to me by Vondie Curtis Hall, he shot me the script, I read it, it was LA based, it was hood and it was me, so I jumped in."
Audiences can jump "Waist Deep" into the film Friday when it opens in theaters nationwide.
