Usher told cops his soon-to-be ex wife Tameka Raymond vandalized his truck after a "custody dispute" they had the night before -- this according to the police reports obtained by TMZ.
According to the reports, Usher told the Johns Creek Police Department that on Sept. 10, he had a "verbal argument" with Tameka over the phone regarding weekend custody of their children.
Usher told cops that after the argument, he dropped his kids off at his mother's house -- but when he drove back to his home, Tameka showed up "demanding to take the kids." Usher claims Tameka eventually left and he drove back to his mother's house -- but when Usher got there, Tameka showed up and began "knocking on the door" and making several phone calls to the residence.
Usher claims he and his mom ignored Tameka -- and eventually called police. When cops arrived, Tameka was nowhere to be found.
The next day, Usher called police again after he noticed several scratches on his truck -- Usher told cops he believed Tameka vandalized the car in retaliation for their fight just hours before.
In the police report, the responding officers who checked out the scratched car claim they found no evidence to support Usher's accusation. The cops even reviewed the entrance log to Usher's private neighborhood ... but there was no record of Tameka ever getting into the area where the alleged crime would have taken place.

TMZ has learned Usher Raymond recently called the cops on his soon-to-be ex-wife -- accusing her of sneaking onto his property and scratching up one of his cars.
Law enforcement sources tell us when officers arrived at the scene, Tameka Raymond was nowhere to be found.
Police later interviewed both Tameka and Usher -- but determined there was no evidence or witnesses to substantiate Usher's claim.
But the drama didn't end there -- law enforcement sources tell us Usher called the cops on Tameka a second time several days later, complaining that Tameka again got onto his property and wouldn't leave. By the time cops arrived, Tameka had already split.
Usher filed for divorce back in June ... but it hasn't been finalized just yet.
UPDATE: TMZ just received the following statement from Tameka's rep:
"This is just another attempt to disparage Tameka. It's simply an angry ploy that has no merit.
Tameka's own truck was scratched but it's not clear how. The truck is registered in her name, it's not even Usher's car. Why would she vandalize her own vehicle?"

Usher didn't speak a word about filing for divorce from wife of 22 months, Tameka Foster, yesterday at LAX -- but he didn't have to ... that ringless finger said a mouthful.

If Usher Raymond filed for divorce from his wife Tameka Raymond -- it's news to her.
Here's what we know. Although there are rumors Usher has filed, we're told by sources close to Tameka that she has yet to receive any papers. But our source also tells us Tameka hasn't spoken to Usher "in a few days" and has been trying to get a hold of him the entire time.
As for the courts, there's no record of any filing by Usher.

Usher's been mum since his wife almost died during a lipo procedure. We got him in D.C. last night, and he said Tameka is on the rebound.

The new Mrs. Usher, Tameka Foster, was seen leaving the Mandarin Hotel in New York yesterday with that "I just married my future baby-daddy" glow. She trapped got her man! Back off, haters!
Tameka, 37, was friendly to cameras as she made her way to a waiting SUV. Ah, the benefits of being the older wife of a superstar!
Usher, 28, was seen this week on "Ellen," where he told Ellen DeGeneres that he wants a boy, and would like to name him Usher. This will be his first child and Tameka's fourth. Mrs. Usher divorced her ex-husband in March.

They didn't walk down the aisle, but Usher and his baby mama aren't over just yet.
Cameras caught Mr. and almost-Mrs. Raymond -- the preggers Tameka Foster -- in NYC last night as they left their Upper West Side hotel. While paps kept pressing the duo for their new wedding date, Usher and his expectant lady in waiting wouldn't talk.
While the couple is expecting their first child in the fall, Tameka has three kiddies from a previous relationship. Yeah!

While Britney was busy passing out, Usher was being responsible.
The R&B superstar knew exactly what to say during a New Year's Eve party in Tao in Las Vegas -- right when his buddy Jamie Foxx tried to peer pressure him into taking a shot of booze on stage.
Though Jamie had no problem shooting his back (while fisting a bottle of Dom in the other hand), Usher politely declined and passed his off to the hottie standing to his left.

After doing music, films and television, Usher Raymond can now add Broadway performer to his repertoire. The hip-hop star had his big debut last night as lawyer Billy Flynn in the musical "Chicago."
Citing greats like Bob Fosse, Sammy Davis Jr. and Ben Vereen as inspirations, Raymond says his plan all along was to be a triple threat.
"I looked at all of the people who were real entertainers. They had the ability to be triple threats: dance, sing and act. I've danced. I've sang and done exceedingly well. I've acted and done well. I want the opportunity to be able to say, 'You can't call me a half entertainer. I'm not. I've done it all.'"

Missy, if this were merely a fling, we think it would have flung by now. Nick and Vanessa truly seem to have fallen for each other. In fact, this past Sunday both traveled from different parts of the globe to spend some quality time together -- Nick from Sydney, Australia and Vanessa from the Big Apple.
Included in their Sunday stroll was a trip to the market after enjoying lunch at Casa Vega in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

Where the hell has Usher been?
Tia, Usher has his dancin' shoes on and will be making his way across the Broadway stage in a matter of weeks. He is taking on one of the leading roles in the New York Broadway production of Chicago, which debuts August 22 at the Ambassador Theater in NY. He made an appearance on Tuesday's "TRL" to talk about the big event and made sure to take time for cameras and fans afterward.
Usher is also planning a tour for 2007, so stay tuned to TMZ for updates.
