Former talk show hostess RuPaul, 46, sashayed shantéd into the Virgin Megastore in Union Square to promote her new CD, "Starrbooty," looking like she'd raided Jo Anne Worley's closet to find this psychedelic polyester Pucci jumpsuit. Supermodel!
Add a wig fashioned from the cotton stuffing from a thousand bottles of aspirin, and she's ready for the cameras. Prance!
In the old days, girl wouldn't have gone out without huh nails! You bettah work -- on that!

Steve-O stripped down, tucked the family jewels between his legs and showed off his backflipping skills yesterday for a crowd at the London Virgin Megastore.
The always wild child is in the UK promoting the DVD release of "National Lampoon's TV: The Movie." We're not sure how doing naked backflips is supposed to promote the DVD, but we're not complaining.

Apparently actress Hilary Swank watches every penny... like a hawk! The Oscar-winning leading lady was recently out shopping for CDs at Virgin Megastore in Los Angeles. Our source, who was in the store at the time, said Hilary was very excited when it came time to pay because she had a gift certificate for $100.
Luckily for Hil, she didn't have to shell out any of her own money since the total balance due was $99.58. After the cashier rung Swank's sale up he handed her back a gift certificate now worth 42¢. Hilary asked that she be given the actual coins rather than the card. The manager had to be called to open the register and Hilary proceeded to complain about the inconvenience this was causing her.
As much of a time constraint she says she was on, she seemed more than willing to wait for 42¢.
Guess every penny really does count!

For music fans in New York, there wasn't much left of Nick Lachey.
Lachey was in the Big Apple to promote his new album, "What's Left of Me." Lachey was scheduled to show up for a signing at the Virgin Megastore in Times Square at 4 p.m., but didn't arrive until an hour later. Lachey spent only about 20 minutes at the signing before jetting off to his next gig -- leaving fans to wonder what they bothered standing in line for.
