A few uninvited vermin had Whitney Port running for the door of her own apartment -- and no, we're not talking about a visit from Speidi.
TMZ has learned "The City" star put herself up in two different swanky NYC hotels this week after she and BFF Joanna Scapa found an unwelcome party of mice creepin' around her pad.
We're told the gals didn't even bother to change out of their PJs -- immediately booking it to the Cooper Square Hotel while still in their jammies.
Whitney's been waiting it out there and at the nearby Bowery Hotel ever since.
She'll return home once exterminators finish doing their thing.

The 24-year-old "The City" star soaked her bones at a Miami hotel pool on Monday.

Lauren Conrad -- and her dress -- needed a little help staying up after a night of partying for her 22nd birthday.
Cameras snapped her spilling out of her car and her dress as she arrived home from S Bar last night. It was a regular "Hills"-apalooza earlier at Katsuya where TMZ also caught L.C. and Whitney, Audrina and Lo, and ... you know, whoever else.

"Hills" good girl Whitney Port knows how to ditch the paparazzi -- by telling them there's a bigger star around the corner -- which wouldn't be difficult to believe!
Lauren Conrad's sidekick was caught by TMZ as she left the Intermix party last night at their new Robertson Blvd. store. Surrounded by a few snapping paps, Port told photogs, "I think Lauren and Audrina are leaving."
The photogs, TMZ included, took the bait and ditched Port. That wily Whitney! LC was nowhere in sight!
