He wasn't talking about how the selection went on the way out, but we're told Will wasn't picked.

Conan O'Brien finally started his "Tonight Show" run last night -- and we're guessing Will Ferrell's interview had to be cut a bit short, because the standing ovation Conan received when he first walked out lasted for...ev...er.

Yes, Will Ferrell chugged a frothy glass of his own urine recently -- but don't worry, there's a good reason ... kinda.
Dude took a shot of the yellow stuff during a guest appearance of the survival show "Man Vs. Wild."
Ferrell told USmagazine.com, "To be able to participate in an episode of 'Man vs. Wild' was a thrill of a lifetime, even though I did get urine-drunk which is sad."
During the shoot, Will also ate "reindeer eyeballs." PETA's gonna love that one.

Ferrell wore this khaki monstrosity to the premiere of his new film, "Semi-Pro," on Tuesday. Hopefully, the movie will be as funny as his outfit.

Will Ferrell received the James Joyce Award in Ireland yesterday for his numerous contributions to literature. "Anchorman" didn't write itself, ya know! 
The criteria for the award seems to be vague -- as previous winners include U.N. weapons inspector Hans Blix and activist Jesse Jackson.

In the latest Will Ferrell video on FunnyOrDie.com, his 2-year-old co-star, Pearl, announced her retirement. But now, in an exclusive interview, the precocious toddler/landlord/cop reveals to TMZ how she fills her days -- at least until pre-school starts.
"Retirement has been really good," Pearl told us in between naps. "I played golf with Charles Barkley and Dan Marino the other day."
As to her upcoming schedule, Pearl revealed, "I got offered a job at a casino as a greeter. But mainly I'm spending time with my family, spilling juice and putting things in my mouth that I find on the floor."

Will Ferrell is featured in another FunnyOrDie.com clip with his favorite co-star -- a 2-year-old girl named Pearl.
Pearl is actually the daughter of Ferrell's frequent collaborator, Adam McKay. In this clip, Pearl plays a tough cop that is brought in to get a confession out of Will -- by any means necessary. Let's just say there is a phone book beating involved.
But alas, this is Pearl's final performance. Hey, she's still got preschool to look forward to.

Will Ferrell and company have struck again!
The hysterical video of Sanjaya claiming to be an art student who created "Sanjaya," which showed up in the TMZ mailbox earlier this week, is actually the work of Ferrell's website, FunnyOrDie.com. It really is Sanjaya in the video, and Sanjaya is really Sanjaya -- and not Bill Vendall from the Rhode Island School of Design.
It's good to see Sanjy's sense of humor extends beyond his hair.

Take a look ... that's the Elf himself, dead center with the Bozo hair, catching the AL Champion Tigers against the Minnesota Twins ... no VIP seats for Ferrell, he's just plain folk! Ferrell studied at USC in hopes of becoming a sportscaster, and remains an avid fan.
Oh, the Twins trounced the Tigers, 11-3.

A two-minute comedy video of Will Ferrell fighting with his landlord would be funny. But when you make the landlord a 2-year-old girl with a temper and a drinking problem, you've got comedy gold.
The viral video is called "The Landlord," a simple production between Ferrell and longtime collaborator Adam McKay. It's McKay's 2-year-old daughter who plays Pearl, Ferrell's verbally abusive landlord with a penchant for beer.
The video appears on FunnyOrDie.com, a website the duo's production company created as a place for them (and other, lesser-known comedians) to show off their short videos.
McKay told the L.A. Times that he's not worried about his daughter picking up bad language: "She's in that phase right now where you can repeat anything to her and she won't remember it." Kids saying "bitch" is always funny.

Will Ferrell got his Bozo on at the USC "Swim With Mike" awards this weekend.
The comedian donned a bathing cap and speedos and took to the diving platform, to the delight (and horror) of the crowd.
This wasn't Will's only big splash -- "Blades of Glory" raked in over 90 mil at the box office in just over two weeks!
