Dr. Sandeep Kapoor -- along with co-defendants Howard K. Stern and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich -- is inside the L.A. County Criminal Courthouse in the Anna Nicole Smith drug case.
As we first reported, prosecutors will make their move this morning to add five additional charges against Stern for allegedly conspiring to fuel Anna Nicole's drug addiction. Stern would be facing a total of 11 felonies.

Burt Reynolds has checked himself into a rehab clinic in West Palm Beach, seeking treatment for a painkiller addiction.
Reynolds' manager released a statement earlier today claiming the 73-year-old actor was struggling after a recent back surgery and "realized that he was in the prison of prescription pain pills."
Burt's manager added, "He checked himself into rehab in order to regain control of his life.
Mr. Reynolds hopes his story will help others in a similar situation.
He hopes they will not try to solve the problem by themselves, but realize that sometimes it is too tough to do on their own and they should seek help, as he did."
UPDATE: Burt's manager says he's been released from the rehab clinic.
DJ AM had eight OxyContin pills in his stomach and one in his mouth when his body was found last Friday -- according to a new People report.
We checked with law enforcement sources tonight, and they still say AM's death was not a suicide.
We're told the OxyContin pills would be another indication that DJ AM had relapsed into addiction -- triggered by anti-anxiety medications.
Official autopsy results have not been released yet.

Former MTV host Matt Pinfield has announced he will be entering rehab. The VJ-turned-radio show host left this message on his blog:
"I have been struggling with a dependency that I need to address, and so I will be voluntarily suspending my involvement on the 101.9 RXP morning show until I have completed the healing process.
After a few recent slips from my path to health I feel it important to proactively address these slips to ensure that my life continues its positive momentum.
I am so thankful to my family, friends, fans and co-workers here at 101.9 RXP who have provided me with such a deep support system and I want my fans to know that I am well and hope to return and continue what I have started here at RXP."
At this point, Matt hasn't revealed the substance to which he's addicted to.
