Luckily for her, the tears were of the happy variety -- because Mariah Carey totally lost it when Nick Cannon played a tribute video for his sugar mama at their one-year wedding anniversary party at the Palms in Vegas.
We're just as surprised they made it as you are.

Today's episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show" was supposed to mark the 10 year anniversary of the massacre at Columbine High School -- but not anymore.
Oprah just announced on her website she's decided to pull the episode: "I decided to pull the Columbine show today. After reviewing it, I thought it focused too much on the killers. Today, hold a thought for the Columbine community. This is a hard day for them."
Instead, Oprah will air an episode about a mother being released from prison.

Jenna Jameson recently posted on her MySpace blog that she and Tito Ortiz have just celebrated their 1-year anniversary. It seems like just yesterday when Jenna was life-sized with some major gazongas. How time flies.
Still, TMZ wondered whether the on-again-off-again-on-again couple was counting the time spent apart -- or if they've added up the total time of their rollercoaster relationship to equal one year? Either way, like Jenna in her many films, it appears to be a fun ride. Wheeeeeeeeeeee!

TMZ celebrated its first anniversary Wednesday night -- and there were plenty of flashbulbs popping to document the swank soiree.
It was a glorious carnival of celebrities and fans; with everyone from Tera Patrick to Shanna Moakler to the original K-Fed-exer, Shar Jackson, even the circus! Cirque du Soleil artistes strutted under the big top at Republic in WeHo, while the Svedka Vodka flowed and DJ Samantha Ronson spun the night away.
And then there was some do-it-yourself photography -- Tera and hubby Evan Seinfeld, among many others, stepped into our photo booth to say cheese and get funky.

TMZ celebrated its first scooptabulous year as the number one entertainment news source, and last night's party was completely off the hook! 
In a giant star-studded bash at Republic in West Hollywood, sponsored by our friends at Svedka Vodka, superstar DJ Samantha Ronson absolutely brought the house down with killer dance tunes as circus performers went wild on the red carpet.
Shanna Moakler, Tera Patrick, Omarosa and "Paris Hilton" all took part in the festivities and walked off with fab gift bags filled with hip items like delicious Svedka vodka, stylin' American Trash t-shirts, and copies of the #1 animated film of the year, Disney's "Cars," among others. Our fearless leader, Harvey Levin, made a rare appearance that wasn't broadcast live from the TMZ newsroom! Judging by the bleary-eyed staffers here this morning ... blah blah blah.
