Action just seems to find the Governator -- Arnold Schwarzenegger's plane made an emergency landing this evening because of smoke in the cockpit.
The guv's plane was about ten minutes from touching down in Santa Monica, CA when the pilot reported the smoke, according to KTTV in Los Angeles.
The pilot made a quick, steep, and safe landing at Van Nuys airport, just north of Santa Monica.
Everyone onboard is okay. Arnold even twittered about the landing, saying it was, "a little adventure."
Yes. Ahnald twitters.

File this in the category of "don't trust the flacks who shovel B.S. about their clients": Contrary to the lies we got a few days back that Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has not committed to doing a movie with Sylvester Stallone ... Ahnold himself says he is.
The Guv was on George Stephanopoulos' show today, saying he will indeed support his bud by shooting a scene in Sly's movie, "The Expendables."
A few days ago, the Guv's media hack double-talked us and said the only plan the Governor had was to get the Caleeefornia budget passed -- that he knew nothing about a movie. It was so obvious he was lying, but that was his story.
Ditto Sly's rep, said nothing was solid about the Guv doing the movie, even though a rep for the movie's own executive producer told us he was doing a scene.
People were giving Arnold heat for leaving the State to do a movie. Clearly his reps felt they could lie about it until the budget was approved, as if the State is no longer in crisis.
How stupid do they think we are?

The smack talk has officially begun between -- the chick with the machine gun leg bashing the hell out of The Terminator.
From the minute Rose McGowan left a masquerade at Guys nightclub in Hollywood last night, the "Grindhouse" star unleashed an intense Anti-Schwarzenegger tirade -- slamming the Guv for "getting nothing done" for the state of California.
It's the sexiest political trash talk we've ever seen.

So looks like the Governator took some heat after the producer of Sylvester Stallone's new movie told us Arnold would leave Sacramento to shoot a scene for "The Expendables." Now Sly himself is telling us Arnold will not shoot the scene, at least not now.
Arnold's people and Sly say the Guv only has one thing on his mind right now and that's the budget crisis. Sly says things could change once Arnold solves California's woes. Read between the lines and it's pretty clear Arnold had a big PR problem by putting the Legislature on lockdown and then agreeing to go off and shoot a movie.
So -- Will Ahnold rescue Caleeefornia so he can do Sly's movie next month?

The Governator just voted at a Brentwood polling place with his wife and daughter Katherine -- who's voting for the first time, as a Democrat.
We're told Arnold voted "No" on Prop 8 and urged the crowd outside to vote "Yes" on Prop 11. And though they can't vote, a group of kids at a school next door were just excited to meet the Terminator.
