Update: A rep for Tyra says Richard Thomas was never employed by Bankable, its respective entities, or by Tyra's talk show, or 'Top Model'.
Tyra Banks' former assistant wants a small piece of her fortune -- actually, he wants a small claims court piece.
TMZ picked up a small claims lawsuit filed in L.A County by Richard Thomas, who claims Miss Banks owes him $5,820.
Thomas is suing for back wages plus a little extra. The complaint says Thomas wants the money for "services rendered as assistant and advisor."
We're not sure how much he wants as an advisor.
And this is funny... the legal documents require Thomas to ask Tyra for the money prior to filing suit.
His response to that: "I have not been able to catch [Tyra] while she is in."
Doesn't sound like a great assistant to us.
No comment from Tyra -- we couldn't get in touch either.

Britney Spears is finally on the right path ... and her former assistant from the good ol' days, Felicia Culotta, is back making sure she gets there in one piece.
Felicia left her gig assisting the Jonas Bros. with their flat irons and tight jeans to jump on the Britney Resurrection Tour.
Anyone who can manage to deter Brit from getting behind the wheel is a keeper.

Usually, it's the assistant's job to make life easier for their boss -- but last night, it was Lance Bass' "drunk ass" sidekick who ended up needing the wannabe cosmonaut to drive her home after a wild night.
That being said, she's the nicest drunk girl we've ever met.

The woman who worked for Britney Spears for ten years has moved on from playing lackey to BritBrit to playing lackey to ... the Jonas Brothers. Gimme more teen superstars!
What's more, reports the New York Daily News, Felicia Culotta -- aka Fe -- has enlisted the services of Brit's former bodyguard, Big Rob, to work for Kevin, Joe and Nick -- who are 20, 18, and 15, respectively. By her account, Felicia started working with Brit when she was 16. Did someone tell Mom and Pop Jonas about this?
Fe says that working with the Jonases is "a totally positive experience" and says they are "wonderful."

America's favorite redheaded train wreck -- no, not Carrot Top, but Danny Bonaduce -- is looking for a new assistant to keep him in line! Apparently, his last girl Friday, a 25-year-old teacher who Danny happened to be dating, had a "family emergency" and had to leave her, ahem, prominent position with the former Partridge.
Danny is looking for a female helper. "She does not have to be attractive, beautiful or sexually stimulating in any way. She does, however, have to be capable of playing a drunken woman." Danny's new sidekick will be part of his stage act -- walking on stage and giving him a hard time. And get this -- Gretchen, Danny's ex wife, is willing to teach the new girl how to play the role!
So if you're a female, ugly or pretty, young or old, and have experience as a drunk -- your dream job is waiting!

Nelly Furtado and Vanessa Minnillo walked arm and arm into NYC's club Plumm with Miss Furtado's assistant behind them.
Not wanting to be left behind, the assistant innocently taps the bouncer on the shoulder and says "Excuse me," to which the bouncer responds by showing him the "West Village submission hold." Who knew that having manners would come to this??
