Do you bear a striking resemblance to a certain mother of 14? Do you have an extensive background in musical theater and improv? Have you given up on any hopes of an actual career? Then maybe you could star in a new OctoMom musical!
Described as "a fast-paced triptych musical parody" the OctoMusical is looking for someone who is "funny" and "whimsical" and can "command authority." Ability to contain eight fetuses within your womb at once is not required.
The musical is set to open at a small theater in Los Angeles called Bang sometime in June.
The do over auditions in New York for "America's Next Top Model" today have gone off without a hitch ... and all it took was one violent, bloody riot of hungry models to teach the organizers a lesson.
The would-be models were all greeted by actual police officers and efficient checkpoint stations set up for today's event, instead of smoking cars, trampled bodies and broken high heels. The whole operation was designed to keep the crowd calm.
Unfortunately, not everything was so perfect -- a huge rainstorm hit early this morning, soaking all the wannabe models. Which, actually isn't a bad visual.
To say Paula Abdul had a bad week would be an understatement.
Precautionary measures were taken while "American Idol" filmed at the Kodak Theater this week. All contestants, families and staff were strictly told not to mention anything about the suicide that occurred in front of Paula's home saying, "It would put Paula in a bad mood and not be good for camera."
TMZ sources close to the production say no one tested the new Paula rule and the tapings went without incident.
The rule is said to continue throughout the season. Calls to Paula Abdul's reps have yet to be returned.
Britney Spears was a no-show for the second day in a row, canceling dancer auditions for her upcoming tour and new video. TMZ was on scene at Millennium Dance Studio in North Hollywood today, where Britney had scheduled auditions of male and female dancers to take place between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Brit canceled -- via text message at 11:00 AM -- leaving dancers saying "Merde!" -- but in English. Some of the dancers, while disappointed, would have waited even longer for her.
Several dancers told TMZ that Britney rescheduled for a third attempt on Monday. Luckily for us, several of the terpsichoreans decided to show us a few of their moves, and reminded us to "Leave Britney alone!"
Another season of the Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency? Really? Casting for the third season begins tomorrow at Hollywood and Highland. As always, hopefuls are warned to arrive camera-ready. No warning is issued regarding the attitude that T-wreckasaurus Dickinson will be dishing out. Even more amazing than the fact that Oxygen network has picked up the show for another round, is the fact that not one big name or face has emerged from the agency -- and still, it's almost guaranteed that the streets will be lined up with "models" trying to make it big.
This just proves, once again, that everyone love a hot mess!
No she hasn't forgotten her panties, nor carried her baby on her lap while driving, nor almost dropped him, shaved her head, checked into rehab, checked out, checked in, married a backup dancer, divorced a backup dancer, made a crappy reality show, teamed up with grandMadonna, nor posed topless with a flower. What she is doing is attempting to "perform" again, this time at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, and she's looking for some backup boys! The gumchewing lipsyncher had an email sent to dancers last week, announcing that she'll be performing at the Greek Theatre on June 30 for a one-night deal, and had, er, openings for two male dancers.
Perhaps this time she'll perform for longer than 12 minutes.
Who will rise to the top and be your next "American Idol?" Who's "life is nothing but an awful song?" Season 6 auditions for Los Angeles kicked off Tuesday morning at the world famous Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, Calif.
