Dennis and his band, The Sharks, performed at Aqua Lounge Wednesday night in L.A. -- and his overly enthusiastic, sweat fueled performance was more convincing than any moment in "The Day After Tomorrow."

Billy Bob Thornton transformed into a condescending, pompous jerkwad -- live on the radio today -- when the station DJ casually brought up Billy's acting career.
See, Billy Bob has a band now ... and he demands to be taken seriously -- as in, Billy demanded that the radio host treat him like he would treat Tom Petty.
Seriously, Billy compared himself to Tom Petty.
It all went down today during a CBC interview -- Jian Ghomeshi, the interviewer, introduced the band -- including a few words about Billy's film career -- which caused Billy to become a massive d-bag for the rest of the interview.
You gotta watch it -- unless you wanna continue to like Billy Bob.

Matthew Nelson, the long, blonde haired guy from the 90s band Nelson, is pulling the plug on his marriage ... and get this -- the former rocker is the one asking for spousal support.
Nelson filed for divorce in L.A. County Superior Court on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences with his wife Yvette Stefens -- a former model who also played in the 2005 Lingerie Bowl.
Matthew and Yvette were married in 1995 ... about 4 years after the band had already ceased to be relevant.

Jason Null, the co-founder of the rock group Saving Abel, and Brandon Danger, the band's guitar stringer, have been charged with with felony counts of forced oral copulation, and forced oral copulation on a minor after police say they forced a 17-year-old girl to perform a sex act after their concert in Oakland.
Both Null and Danger were arraigned Friday on the charges. Null has pleaded not guilty, and his attorney says there is a videotape of the incident to prove the charges are baseless. Danger has not yet entered a plea.
Police say the girl went on the band's tour bus Tuesday night thinking she was getting a chance to be in a rock video for the group.

MTV's search for the new Menudo has wrapped up, and while the show has not yet aired, and the boys not yet revealed, they've been hard at work in the studio.
TMZ just got an exclusive leak of their new song, "More Than Words." The song has a catchy beat and definitely has the boy band sound. But how are people going to react to the next generation of Menudo? Take a listen.

The search for the next Pussycat Doll ended last night with the crowning of Asia as the next doll, but a TMZ source believes that this girl probably "isn't the best match for the group."
If you watched the show, you'll remember Asia's numerous Diva-like demands and negative interaction with other wannabe pussies. Although Asia performed with the rest of the Dolls at the end of last night's show, our source says that it doesn't necessarily mean that she will go on to be a part of the group; she could be cast as a backup dancer or singer, or could be setup with the Vegas Dolls show -- probably not something the bratty songbird will sing about.
Adding irritation for the new Pussycat: Our sources have revealed exclusively to TMZ that the show has been picked up for another season, although it's being denied by a Warner rep. For Asia's sake, let's hope she drops the 'tude and falls in line -- cause another replacement is just a season -- and litter -- away.
TMZ contacted a Warner Bros. spokesperson who told us, "Asia is absolutely a member of the recording group, not the Vegas lounge, and will tour with the group and record for the Dolls' second album."
Britney's reported new rehab man, singer Howie Day, isn't exactly the face of a healthy relationship ... if his police record is any indication of what type of support he'll be on Brit's bewigged road to recovery. The duo met at Promises rehab and are now said to be having a spring fling.
Day was arrested in Wisconsin in 2004 for locking a woman in the bathroom of a tour bus after she refused his sexual advances. He pleaded no contest to a charge of disorderly conduct.
A year later, Howie was arrested at Boston's Logan Airport for harrassing flight attendants while on a flight from Dallas and was eventually ordered to one year's probation as part of a plea deal.

Aerosmith's Steven Tyler is doing much better since having surgery on his throat in March. After being put on total vocal rest for an extensive period of time, not only will the generation-defying rock and roll superstars go on tour this fall with with Motley Crüe, they will also be putting out a soon-to-be-named album at the end of the year. As of now, Kelly Monaco is concentrating on finishing out her current contract with "General Hospital." Back in October of 2003 Monaco took over the roll of the sometimes deceitful yet sometimes harmless Samantha "Sam" McCall. Monaco has also appeared on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars," where she came in first place. As for what's next in her career, sources close with Kelly told TMZ we'd be in "the know" if anything were to change. So make sure to keep logging in for the latest.
