Jon Gosselin was apparently trying to put out a fire in his pants yesterday -- a fire that was clearly burning a hole in his pocket, because he was spending like a mutha.
Now we find out he dropped more than $2,000 Friday at the Barneys CO-OP in the Riverside Square Mall in New Jersey. It's the same mall where one of the two women he was with dropped $595 at Tumi -- on a purse.
And spies at the mall tell us Jon and the two girls dropped in on Louis Vuitton, Cole Haan and Godiva. As one dude put it, Jon was decked out in cheesy Ed Hardy duds.
And now we're told the two women who accompanied Jon were the two chicks with whom he spent Memorial Day. We got this pic of the trio at Front Street Bar and Grill in Newburgh, NY.
From the looks of it, Jon was spending on Jon but not Kate Plus 8.

Paris Hilton's year long self-induced sexual hiatus is in trouble if she keeps this up with new bachelor Travis Barker. The "good friends" might want to keep a bucket of cold water around just in case.

Hot mom Brooke Shields knows how to work a crowd, even if that crowd is filled with paparazzi.
The MILF was recently spotted walking into Barneys and obliged the the awaiting photogs with a smile and a wave, much to their delight.
When Brooke asks the photogs "Who's inside?", as she leaves, they answer "You!" which makes Brooke laugh.
Oh Brooke, how you toy with our hearts.

The mother of the world's most famous (yet unseen) Scientologist spawn doesn't let anything get in between her and Barneys. Just days before she gave birth to Suri, Holmes was spotted in the ultra hot Beverly Hills department store for hours with security guards flanking her. In fact, she was in the store until it closed and we're told she was the last customer to leave.
On Monday Katie returned to her favorite store. Katie had just returned from a month-long stay in Telluride when she made a beeline to the high end clothing store.
Whatever the reason neither pregnancy, her newborn nor the controversy surrounding her unseen child can keep Katie from Barneys.
