It's gonna be a rough season of filming -- "Real Housewife of Atlanta" Kim Zolciak is saying NeNe Leakes got a hold of her throat not once, but twice during their now infamous confrontation.
We just got off the phone with Zolciak, who supplied some unknown details about the widely reported throwdown between her and her co-star. Kim says Bravo suggested the two meet up that day to hammer out their issues -- but instead of working anything out, Kim just got choked out.
Zolciak also says she lost her breath for a minute and a half as NeNe choked her ... the first time. Moments later, according to Kim, NeNe went for the neck again -- and producers had to step in to safely escort Kim to her car. That's when Kim filed a police report.
Taking one for the team, Kim says she didn't file a restraining order so filming of the show could continue. She tells us "Violence is unacceptable, this has definitely changed my life. I wish NeNe would be humble enough to apologize."
When asked about the incident Tuesday night in NYC, NeNe denied the choking incident ever happened.

The mother and step mother of Rubina Ali -- the little girl featured in "Slumdog Millionaire" -- went toe-to-toe yesterday in the streets of Mumbai, amid reports Rubina's father was angling to cash in by selling the child.
The choke-fest between the two women occurred after Rubina's father -- Rafiq Qureshi -- reportedly tried to squeeze around $400,000 from a reporter for Britain's News of the World, who was posing as a baby buyer.
Rubiq claims he was framed.

Not every fight is as hilarious. A TMZ photog learned it first-hand when "CSI" idiot/douchebag Gary Dourdan went on an unprovoked attack outside Hyde nightclub.
Is Paris Hilton shilling for Taco Bell? Sure looks like it these days, with the heiress stuffing her face at the fast food mecca and loudly proclaiming her love for all comida Mexicana.
Jay-Z was gracious to our photog in New York, but his friends were certainty not as eloquent -- screaming "c**ksucker" at him before driving off in Jay's Maybach.

Not since the crumbling of the Berlin Wall have the winds of peace swept over the world like they did this past weekend. Paris and Nicole are best buds once again. Let the word spread throughout the land that "Simple Life" will return with the ladies sharing screen time. 
Brangelina decided to go native while in Pune, India and the sexy couple was overrun with fans and photogs. Their rickshaw was surrounded every time they came to a stop. We wonder if little Maddox realizes that not every family causes a near riot when they go out.
Where's Britney while K-Fed paints the town red? The wannabe rapper, actor and model has been spotted twice in one week partying in LA while Britney is presumably at home watching the kids. Dude, next time get a sitter and treat your lady right.

It was a near catfight on the red carpet as Paris Hilton arrived at a Hollywood party minutes behind arch-nemesis Nicole Richie. Paris and Nicky pulled up in their Escalade only to have Nicky notice Nicole and pull her sister back into the SUV till Nicole was safely off the carpet and inside the building. Whew that was close!
