He was late ... to a very important date ... and when he arrived, DMX went nuclear on security guards who wouldn't allow him perform at a charity event this weekend.
The rapper got into a screaming match with security when he arrived to a Colorado Springs concert nearly 90 minutes after security was told he was scheduled to perform. In the video, both sides can be seen going off on each other.
X, his bodyguards and fans eventually got into a shoving match with security in front of the stage, while the crowd -- who had already been told he wasn't going to show -- chanted "DMX! DMX!"
He eventually got on stage -- but the sound system was reportedly turned off so he couldn't perform.
Only DMX could turn a charity event into a melee.

The charity being sued by the administrators of Michael Jackson's estate says they should be viewed as "friends" of the Jackson estate and they will fight to continue to protect his legacy.
Heal the World, which is being accused of ripping off Jackson's name and likeness without permission, denies all the allegations, saying, "This suit has not been brought against the charity to 'protect' Mr. Jackson, his estate, his legacy and certainly not his humanitarian aims as has been claimed. You don't 'protect' yourself from a friend and we are no adversary."
The lawsuit claims the Heal the World charity had no relationship with Jackson or his family.

It is every man's fantasy to have Megan Fox bring them a beer -- and a few lucky SOBs actually got to live it out on Friday night.
Megan was a celebrity bartender at an event at Sonny McLean's in Santa Monica to raise money for a charity called Team Stacie. Megan's on-again/off-again BF Brian Austin Green was scheduled to be there -- Megan was just an added bonus.
We're guessing she made more in tips.

The Ace of Hearts dog rescue foundation was so pumped that we were able to find John Mayer's mug shot -- and score them a $12,500 donation in the process -- they named a few canines after Harvey Levin, John and TMZ!
Here's a little background info on the well-named canines:
-- Levin is a 3-year-old Shar Pei/Mastiff mix
-- Mayer is a 2-3 month-old Beagle/Hound mix puppy
-- TMZ is a 1-year old Boxer/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix
The adorable dogs were rescued last weekend from a high kill shelter in Northern California -- now all three need some good people to reach out and give them a home.

John Mayer is keeping up with his end of yesterday's $25,000 "find my mug shot" challenge -- at least it appears he is.
Johnny boy just posted pictures of the checks he wrote to Pet Orphans of Southern California and Ace of Hearts -- the two charities we picked for him to split the 25k between after we located his 2001 mug shot.
Just look at all those adorable little puppies .... don't they make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?

Rockin' a three-piece suit, Brad Pitt hit the U.S. Capitol for his hot date with Nancy Pelosi today.
The 45-year-old superstar is in D.C. meeting with members of Congress to discuss Angelina, his movies charity efforts in New Orleans.

The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society "Breaking the Ice" charity event -- which Orlando Bloom flaked on -- was arranged to save ocean habitat, but the good cause wasn't the best part of the event -- it was this fantastic photo op!
One of the strangest collections of oddballs since, well, Friday's Stony Awards was seen when a feather-haired new dad Anthony Kiedis and a gaucho-outfitted Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, a mermaid, and Sea Shepherd founder Captain Paul Watson gathered in front of a huge plastic whale for a photo. One of these things isn't real!

No complaints, of course, but the world sees Dita splashing around more than we see her dry! The former Mrs. Marilyn Manson busted out her favorite pair of pasties -- yes, those are pasties! -- in Toronto over for the weekend for the 2007 Fashion Cares event, and splashed around in a giant champagne glass bubble bath. Scrub your back, hon?
Only Dita can pull off wearing nothing to a fashion event!

Will Mariah Carey ever do another Christmas album? --Paul
Paul, Mariah's reps weren't immediately available to comment on this, but we could all use some new Christmas music from the diva. It's been more than 10 years since we heard some holiday cheer from Mariah; hopefully she has something up her sleeve for next year!
In related news, did you know that when it comes to charity, she's one of the most influential celebs? Although she's very modest about it, Camp Mariah, founded in 1994, continues to be a getaway for 300 boys and girls each summer!

Here at TMZ, we're big fans of ourselves and we think you kinda like us too. In the celeb world, some people love us, others ... not so much. We can now put Kimora Lee Simmons under the category of "loves us."
It was a rainy night in the Big Apple, but we caught up with Kimora at "Disco & Diamonds," a charity gala hosted by Denise Rich and the G&P Foundation for Cancer Research. Once Kimora spotted our cameraman, she professed her love for yours truly. "I like you guys. Does that work for you?" she cooed.
Once inside, Sister Sledge took the stage for a little "We Are Family" -- always a crowd-pleaser.

Paris Hilton may be many things, but she sure isn't stingy, especially when she's coming out of a McDonalds drive-thru and a pan-handler asks her for money.
"You Paris Hilton! Can I get a hundred dollars?" was the exact quote.
Before Paris could answer, then man came down quite a bit, asking "how 'bout a dollar?" But Paris heard the first request and reached beside her and handed the man a crumpled $100 bill.
She then posed with him and remained polite, even when he asked about "Lionel Richie's daughter", a reference to Paris' drama-filled relationship with Nicole Richie. The dude must be reading TMZ.
Later he offered to wash Paris' car, but she has people to do that. She spent less than $10 on her own lunch, but that guy can now afford a sushi feast at Koi. If he can get a table, that is.

It's the Brangelina charity effect.
Thanks to the media mileage Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have wrung out of their Africa charity work, celebrities today are falling over themselves to show the world how public spirited they are.
Latest example: Nicole Kidman, who spent the days before her wedding to crooner Keith Urban visiting Sydney's Children's Hospital with her own kids. The happy couple is reportedly asking guests to donate to charity rather then buy gifts.
In addition, Cher in recent days has drummed up money for troop helmets in Iraq, while K-Fed has thrown his substantial celebrity weight behind the fate of ... pennies.
While the new round of celeb heart pouring is an outgrowth of Brangelina's work in Africa, other celebs have been big in the free-money circuit for years. Big donators include: Oprah Winfrey, who gave $52 million in 2005 to charity; Sandra Bullock, who donated $1 million twice, once to the Red Cross following 9/11 and the second to Tsunami Relief; and Paul Newman, who has donated nearly $200 million in after-tax profits of his "Newmans Own" products. There's also Bono who, in our opinion, should be reaching sainthood by the end of the week.
