In one the craziest police chases we've ever seen, a man just jacked a big rig and tore down Interstate 75 in Atlanta -- while the owner of the rig hung onto the back of the truck for dear life.
The owner eventually jumped off the back of the tractor-trailer -- eating serious pavement -- after spike strips were able to slow it down enough for the dramatic escape.
Atlanta police then surrounded the truck, busted out the windows and pulled the massive truck-jacker out -- who decided he wasn't done yet and fought the cops until they finally subdued him.
UPDATE: A Georgia State Patrol trooper was shot during the chase, according to AJC.com. His condition is currently unavailable.

Just another ordinary day for a working mother and her busy administrative assistant daughter -- capped off by a high-speed celebrity chase!
Michelle Peck (inset), who was featured on "EXTRA" as a skin specialist who provides oxygen facials for celebs, escaped by the skin of her teeth the other night after Lindsay Lohan pursued her in one of the wackiest car chases not arranged for an Eddie Murphy movie. Her daughter, Tarin Graham (left) was seen walking with Lindsay after lunch on Monday. Tarin reportedly quit later that same evening, the circumstances of which led to the chase.
It was Ms. Peck who made the frantic 911 call to police while being chased by Lilo.

Leaving the kids and her cowboy hat at home, Britney Spears went back to a North Hollywood dance studio yesterday rocking her sexy black micro-skirt -- much classier than her usual pink and red workout disasters.
After the session, a black Mercedes carrying the Britster emerged from the parking lot -- followed by ten speeding cars full of paparazzi which peeled off into the street after her.
When Britney's on the move -- it takes a village.
