Christina Applegate Fighting Breast Cancer
When it rains it pours. Earlier this year Christina Applegate's 26-year-old boyfriend was found dead -- and now the actress has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Her publicist released this statement: "Christina Applegate was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer. Benefiting from early detection through a doctor-ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening. Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery."

Five days after her boyfriend Lee Grivas was found dead of an apparent overdose, Christina Applegate turned up meeting some friends for lunch on Sunday.

Applegate Saddened Over BF Death
Christina Applegate is speaking out about her boyfriend, Lee Grivas who was found dead from an apparent drug overdose this week.
Applegate issued a statement to E! News saying, "I am profoundly saddened, Lee was an incredible human being who was an extremely important and beautiful part of my life. He is missed beyond words."
Results of an autopsy and toxicology test are still pending.

"Married With Children" star Christina Applegate has finalized her divorce with that cute guy from the Tom Hanks movie, court papers show today.
According to documents, Applegate gets control of bank accounts totaling $4.3 million, the couple's two homes, a 2006 Mercedes and all interest in Moolah Productions, Inc. -- whatever that is.
That cute guy from the Tom Hanks movie (aka Johnathon Schaech) receives control of bank accounts totaling $1.5 million, a 2001 Mercedes, and a cement Buddha currently in Applegate's possession.
Better be one helluva Buddha.

"Best" Has Own Best Week Ever
"Best Week Ever", the VH1 show that's a round-up of the week's pop culture news with commentary from comedians, had a huge milestone this week by celebrating its 100th episode. The event was hosted by the always funny Christina Applegate and all the show's staple commentators were on hand for the party.
One interesting guest was Samantha Cole, who's made headlines recently as being one of the "other women" in the Christie Brinkley/Peter Cook split. Cole herself has probably been a target of the show but could care less, saying "They make fun of everything, make everything light and funny, even serious situations. they touch on everything so its interesting to me."
It's comedian Paul Scheer who sums it up best, "I'm just happy Paris Hilton's been around that long because without her we would have nothing to talk about." Same here Paul, same here.

Simpson's Sexy Circle of Friends
When it came time for Jessica Simpson to shoot the video for her new single "A Public Affair," she made a couple of calls to some all-star friends. Eva Longoria, Christina Applegate and Christina Milian all join the pop-princess for the rollerskating themed shoot, making them some of the hottest women on wheels.
Simpson's certainly having a bit more fun with her record than ex Nick Lachey's somber "What's Left of Me." "My album's definitely a reflection of where I am this very moment. It's happy, it's summer, I just want to get out with my girlfriends and have a good time and enjoy myself," says Jessica about the new record.
So how did Simpson get them all to take a day to skate with her? "She said you better be there biatch!" says Applegate while getting a foot massage from Brett Ratner. "No. She just asked me please, so I said of course."
Longoria was a little worried about the shoot since it had been a while since she last laced up. "8th grade maybe. It's been a while, but Applegate is an expert so if I fall, I'm bringing her down with me."
Simpson's new album, "A Public Affair," is set for release August 29th.

Applegate's Ex Speaks Out
Hollywood hunk Johnathon Schaech sat down with 'EXTRA' correspondent Jerry Penacoli to discuss the demise of his four-year marriage to former 'Married with Children' star Christina Applegate.
Schaech admits the couple's busy careers kept them apart which contributed to their breakup.
As far as reconciling with Applegate, Schaech adds, "It's not up to me."

Applegate Files Response in Divorce Case
Christina Applegate filed her response to divorce papers filed by her soon to be ex-husband, Johnathon Schaech, who originally filed for divorce back in Dec. 2005. According to the papers, both parties are seeking attorney's fees and spousal support.
