Best friends and "Grey's Anatomy" co-stars Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight spent some time out of scrubs together yesterday.
A TMZ spy tells us the prime time pals were overheard in a very in-depth conversation about the upcoming elections before catching a flick at an L.A. cinema. After the movie, the buddies headed to Off Vine restaurant in Hollywood, where they met up for dinner with Katherine's fiance, Josh Kelley.
Looks like T.R.'s media drama has brought him closer to his fellow actors... well, at least some of them.

Admit it, you love the "Harry Potter" movies. The movies transcend age groups and have spawned millions of wizards-in-training. So are the much beloved tales about to lose one of its most important stars?
That's the situation Emma Watson has potentially created with her inability to make her mind up about signing up for the last two films. Emma, who plays Hermione Granger told Newsweek on a recent visit to the "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" set, " I don't know yet... I love to perform, but there are so many things I love doing."
Now before everyone panics and starts hiding beneath their invisibility cloaks, producer David Heyman says that Emma went through the same questioning process before signing on for the third and fourth films and he is cautiously optimistic that she will sign on for the last two.
Just to ease the situation, it might help if you keep your fingers crossed, your dragons in a row and chant a few spells and hopefully Hermione will stay enrolled at Hogwarts for a few more years.

1) Ashley Has Just GOTTA KNOW: What is the real deal behind Kevin Richardson's departure from BSB? The generic answer in his statement isn't a real answer after all his years of insisting the band will remain his #1 priority!!! Any clue what caused his change of heart?
It's possible that we'll never know the real reason behind Backstreet Boy Kevin Richardson's choice to leave his band of 13 years. He is quoted, however, as saying that his decision "was necessary in order to move on with the next chapter of [his] life." 2) Susan Has Just GOTTA KNOW: Has Nicole Kidman relinquished custody of her children to Tom Cruise? They are never seen in pictures with her or mentioned.
Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman still share joint custody of their two children Isabella and Connor. Last week, Nicole Kidman spent time with her children as she wed country music star Keith Urban. She and her youngsters made a trip to the Sydney Children's Hospital to visit ailing kids, making stops at the oncology, hematology and neurology wards. Although he has never said "I Do," he seems to have no opposition to a long term committment - much unlike his Mr. Big character.
