Michael Jackson Movie Coming SoonNew court documents in the Michael Jackson estate case reveal Columbia Pictures scored the footage of Michael Jackson's rehearsals and preparations for his London concerts ... but the studio is paying a hefty price.

Columbia will create a movie from the footage. Under the terms of the deal, the Jackson estate will get 90% of the profits and AEG will get the remaining 10%.

Columbia will guarantee a minimum of $60 million in return for the rights.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Lawsuit

The Weinstein Company has sued Columbia Pictures, claiming Columbia has no right to the works of Wang Du Lee, the author of a five books including 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.'

The lawsuit, filed Thursday afternoon in Los Angeles Superior Court, claims that Wang's heirs entered into a written agreement in Dec. 2005 with The Weinstein Company for "the option to acquire the motion picture, television, state, publishing and other rights in the Wang Books..." Read more
