Anna Nicole High on Ecstasy

Anna Nicole High on EcstasyOne of Anna Nicole Smith's bodyguards -- the one who tried reviving her the day she died -- told the judge in the preliminary hearing Anna was high on Ecstasy just before her bizarre appearance on the 2004 AMA awards.

"Big Moe" was referring to the video that was played in court yesterday. Howard K. Stern's lawyer tried explaining yesterday Anna actually had been suffering from seizures and that when she looked drunk and whacked out she was really reacting to anti-seizure meds.

But "Big Moe" testified at least on this occasion it was Ecstasy and Cristal that made her loopy.

Poker Champ's Rep -- We Outballed Kobe!

In a TMZ story over the weekend, Lakers star Kobe Bryant beat poker champion Antonio Esfandiari in a Cristal champagne-off at BLUSH nightclub in Vegas. Turns out, that wasn't the case -- of bubbly!
Kobe Bryant
Antonio, through his rep Anthony Giombetti, told us: "Even though Kobe Bryant and his friends were having fun with my friends (really all of the credit goes to my friend Manny Khoshben) and I, in a spirited competition of who could out-spend the other on champagne, the fact is his party only ordered approximately 15 bottles of Cristal at $21,000, whereas we bought 26 bottles with a bill of $34,731."

Antonio, whose own account can be found on AlwaysBluff.com, was even kind enough to attach a receipt ... that includes a nearly $6,000 tip. Who wants to work at the Wynn?!

Jay-Z Escalates Cristal Boycott: Krug Life?

Poppin' open bottles of Cristal has been a staple of rap videos for the last several years.  But, last week Cristal exec Frederic Rouzaud said the brand is trying to distance itself from the rap community:

"(It's) unwelcome attention. What can we do? We can't forbid people from buying it. I'm sure Dom Perignon or Krug would be delighted to have their business."

Jay - Z says no to CristalA miffed Jay-Z released a statement announcing that he'll no longer use Cristal products:

"It has come to my attention that the managing director of Cristal, Frederic Rouzaud views the 'hip-hop' culture as "unwelcome attention." I view his comments as racist and will no longer support any of his products through any of my various brands including The 40/40 Club nor in my personal life."

And, apparently Jay took Rousaud's suggestion on other brands to heart:

"The response from our customers at 40/40 has been incredible. "This weekend, we sold more bottles of Krug and Perrier Jouet than [ever] and we expect that trend to continue. They are great products and we are glad they have embraced us with open arms."

Now, Mr. Carter is going even further in his Cristal boycott. He's going to remove all Cristal references from his lyrics. His rep says:

"You can bet that Cristal will not be in Jay's lyrics on Sunday. What will replace it, only he knows at the time, because he rhymes on the fly - so don't be surprised to hear something different."

So who will Jay-Z give props to at this weekend's show, Dom, Krug or both? Either way, Jay's feelings for Mr. Rousaud's brand are Cristal clear.
