Homey Still Don't Play That

It's usually the fans who awkwardly quote stars when in their presence, but last night, Damon Wayans quoted himself!


TMZ caught the former "In Living Color" star outside of Mr. Chow, when pint-sized paparazzo, Blaine, asked Wayans to smile. Damon's reply -- "Homey don't play that."

Blaine, who was probably two-years-old when Homey D. Clown was on TV, had no idea what Wayans was talking about.

Wayans to El Paso: F**k You and Good Night!

Comedian Damon Wayans walked out right before a sold-out performance in El Paso, Tex. on Friday night because two female friends of his were not "immediately allowed into the club," the El Paso Times reports.

According to the paper, Wayans left five minutes before his second show on Friday, and shows on Saturday and Sunday -- all sold out -- were cancelled as well. Apparently "Marci X" was never shown in Texas.

The Times says anyone who purchased tickets to the show will get their mo' money back. Calls to Wayans' reps were not immediately returned.

UPDATE (6/20) -- Damon's reps sent TMZ this statement:

Never in 20 years of performing comedy has Damon walked out on a performance. Unfortunately, after driving 14 hours from LA to El Paso and looking forward to performing all weekend, Damon was put in the position where he felt he had no other choice than to leave. The Comic Strip comedy club had neglected its contractual obligations, and Damon was not receiving anything close to the warm welcome that the El Paso audiences were giving him. We regret that the actions of a club owner affected audiences coming to experience a great night of comedy.

Laugh Factory "Ban" a Joke, Wayans to Perform

Just a month after he was banned for three months from the Laugh Factory for violating the club's ban on the N-word, Damon Wayans is set to return to the stage tonight, apparently getting a "Get Out of Ban Free" card from owner Jamie Masada.

The N-word embargo was imposed after the Michael Richards incident on November 17. In December, Wayans' publicist told TMZ about the ban after Damon used it 16 times on stage and was fined and banned.

Wayans is billed as part of an "All Star Week." No word on what material he has planned for the gig.

Calls to the Laugh Factory were not returned.

Wayans Drops N-Bomb, Faces Fallout

Damon Wayans became the first famous offender of the Laugh Factory's ban on the use of the n-word, and was fined and banned from the club for three months as a result, Wayans' publicist tells TMZ.

After the Michael Richards incident on November 17, the club decided to ban use of the word and fine comedians $20 for every offense. Wayans took the stage Sunday during a showcase of African-American comedians called "Chocolate Sundaes." Wayans opened his routine with the line, "Give yourselves a big round of applause for coming down and supporting 'N***** Night.'" According to the L.A. Times, Wayans used the word 15 more times during his 20-minute appearance.

That's a $320 contribution to the Laugh Factory's swear jar. Wayans' rep had no further comment other than to confirm the fine and the temporary ban.

Andy Dick drew fire earlier this week for using the n-word during an appearance at the Improv.

TMZ's Josh Levine and G-Hollywood hit the streets of Hollywood on a very busy Thursday night, scanning all the hotspots and running into a mother lode of stars, including our old friend, EXTRA host Mark McGrath, who tried to give us some jingle help.

Star Catcher LA - 3 Hot Nights

The stars exploded onto the scene in Hollywood this weekend and TMZ was there to capture all the action.

Friday: Paris' CD signing after-party was at Privilege, and Nicky Hilton, Kevin Connolly and Elliot Mintz were all there to watch the star do a little posing. We caught Paris putting on her makeup just moments before she stepped in front of the cameras.

Eventually they all found their way down the street to Hyde, where rockers Dave Navarro and Travis Barker were hanging out. Orlando Bloom and Andy Garcia were also there, posing and leaving together.

Meanwhile, back at Privilege, Verne Troyer was carried out, his middle finger extended for photographers.
