Flash mobs usually pay homage to musicians who are no longer with us -- or at least ones who aren't right there -- but the Janet Jackson mob this weekend had a very special guest ... Janet herself!
But it wasn't a coincidence -- it was all to promote Janet's greatest hits album, which comes out Tuesday.

Not only is Nick Prugo a convicted cocaine handler who may dabble in looting celebrity homes -- but he also smokes what appears to be weed ... and has a mean booty shake.
In webcam video obtained from a computer Nick Prugo used -- a comp cops believe was stolen -- the guy can be seen toking something from a pipe and seriously gettin' his belly-baring groove on to Ester Dean's "Drop It Low."
Pretty soon, the only thing up in smoke could be his freedom.

A group of well-choreographed Michael Jackson fans -- about 500 to be exact -- gathered in Leicester, U.K. to wish Michael Jackson a happy 51st birthday by re-enacting his famous "Thriller" video.
According to the group, they think they've set some sort of world record.

61-year-old Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler tried to entertain crowds with a crazy, spinning chicken dance last night in South Dakota -- and ended up flying off the stage.
He was airlifted to a nearby hospital after the fall -- he suffered minor head, neck and shoulder injuries.

The boys of the New Zealand soccer team don't get down on themselves when they lose, they just get down! 
After losing to Belgium in the first round of the Olympics 0-1, the Oly-Whites (as they're called back home) broke out the Haka -- a traditional Maori war dance teams from NZ usually perform before a match to scare the holy hell out of the other team.
No word on why they decided to bust a move after the loss, but as long as that guy keeps his shirt off -- who really cares?!

TMZ spies were out in force last night for Britney's comeback debut, and it was overheard during the wait for Brit to appear, that many were hoping she wouldn't actually sing -- but lip-sync!
Fans who paid a ridiculous amount of cash for tickets wanted their money's worth -- our spy, who paid $300, said he was ecstatic that Spears did what she does best -- dance -- but he was happier she didn't sing!
"Real fans of Britney know what they're getting, a hot performance, not a singer," said our informant. He also said that although there were definitely a few fans who weren't satisfied with the show, the majority of the crowd LOVED every minute ... all 15 of them!
